“How? As far as I know there is not one canidate who backs Apple. “

Candidates might not, but both Bernie and Trump supporters do. International Populists and National Populists come to unite (during their brawl breaks).

rather than cite a paper, I’ll cite an ap.

although there are several i use I zip. I zip allows one to zip files on the I phone and transmit directly via the web to Dropbox. The dropbox ap its self permits the easy transfer of tons of stuff.

A handler in say Damascus can put all sorts of stuff in a drop box and the lone wolf in california can access it easily via the web on his handheld computer, the locked I phone.

The DOJ wants Apple’s OS source code. DOJ wants to prosecute Climate Change Deniers. DOJ is selectively charging and prosecuting ranchers in order to seize private land in addition to canceling long held lease land. DOJ gives indications (Lynch) that neither Hillary nor her minions will be prosecuted for the most egregious violations of communications security in American history.

I think I’m seeing a trend here. Actually I started seeing a trend when Holder refused to even consider charging the NBPP for blocking entry to whites at polling places during the 2008 elections.

Most Trump supports I’ve seen back the Feds, as does Trump. My candidate (Cruz) backs the Feds. If there was a Republican candidate left that backed Apple, I’d be sorely tempted to go that way.

That is not what they asked for

They must be specific in terms of what they want

Yes but it seems to me that the general condition is what Apple fears.

If I were Apple, I would move 100% of my operation out of this country and only offer internet sales to the U.S market.

This administration entrusted the data on security clearances to Russian and Chinese data firms. So everything about those with clearances is in foreign hands. How soon will the IOS source code be cloned and used against Apple? Probably in less time than a round of golf.

This is yet another example of the the GOPe caving. There was no reason to rubber-stamp Barry’s pick for AG, especially after Holder was found in contempt.

[My view is, this iPhone controversy is total BS, and being pushed in narrative in order to decoy/alibi coverage by so-called news media away from the real story, which is, Hillary is guilty as hell and Zero/Lynch are going to do nothing about it.]

How? As far as I know there is not one canidate who backs Apple.

True, if you are only looking at the "mainstream" candidates.

Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson has stood firmly with Apple since the court order was issued last month.

Granted, it's not Johnson's key issue. However, he and fellow Libertarian candidate John McAfee appear to be the only contenders for the presidency so far who are going to bat for the American people and the Constitution.

Watch the media downplay this and inundate us with phony issues such as which Republican candidate is more popular with white supremacists. They will totally ignore the Libertarians, just as they have in all previous elections.
