Monday, March 14, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally rally in Youngstown, OH at Winner Aviation. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM EDT.
And smiling Mitt couldn’t even close the deal prior to the convention . The MSM doesn’t want their Donald killer exposed red that fact
I think Ivanka is ready to give birth at any moment.
What’s going to kill Kasich in those rust belt States is TRADE & JOBS.
Phyllis Schlafley has a very good article about trade and each candidates position on it. It’s a great short read for anyone interested.
Also, it makes him appear as the presumptive nominee. Subliminally, don’t you suppose people will be voting him vs. Hillary in the primaries, even though she’s not on the ballot?
He’s the same sheriff that was looking into filing inciting riot charges against Trump. Personally, I think he got pissed off because he couldn’t do it so is taking his frustrations out on the deputies.
Sorry, I'm not being clear. I'm not speaking of motive for the delegate requirement. I'm simply pointing out that it took Romney until May 29 to clinch the nomination, and he had a lower bar: 93 fewer delegates.
Analysts are implying that Trump is having some sort of mammoth, unheard-of struggle to attain the delegate goal. But he is quite within range of the Romney trajectory, which was not even a major story at the time. I follow news quite closely, and I don't even remember it.
In the other news segment: Kerry just made the determination that ISIS IS committing genocide.
Alright then. Guess it was something else before Kerry’s “determination”
Correct. Just MSM blather. If these were Romney or Jeb totals the MSM would be already talking about the general election.
<<<I think there was a lot of strife on the thread so they just pulled it. Shortly thereafter JR wrote his most recent. Lets just get along thread. The animosity spilled over to that thread too.<<<
first chance to check in.. Yesterday and earlier this morning I cruised around FR. I felt very uncomfortable and unhappy. Much like I did 4 years ago when I essentially left from my regular posting.
Several regulars (including a star wars gal/guy??) just kept repeating the same lies over and over again and was just obnoxious. Others were brutally rude. No real discussion just wall to wall Trump attacking.
Then the cheerleaders for “yea, Cruz will be DJT’s VP (or SCOTUS nominee)— yikes.. how could Trump ever have Rubio or Cruz as the VP after all the betrayal.
Everyone. I signed up for the Trump campaign in NJ last night. NJ will be key to Trump getting to 1243. He should win our 51 delegates easily and with Christie holding the state apparatus this should guarantee a good result, but we can never be too sure. Also, the NY primary is April 19th and if we can keep Cruz and Kasicko under the 20% threshold that gives WTA to Trump. Pennsylvania is April 26th. Another key primary for Trump.
Any FReepers in the NY Metropolitan area as well as eastern Pennsy that are interested in supporting the Trump campaign, please FReep Mail me and we can link up. Trump doesn’t have a robust operation up yet in NJ, so hopefully I can get involved relatively soon and at a meaningful level. Have a great day all and MAGA!!
You are quite right! Trump is farther along than Romny in delegate count to this point.
The media portrays Trump like he’s climbing slightly upward with 100 pound weights on his back.
While at this same juncture Mitt was all hailed to the King!
I could actually see Rubio. My biggest complaint about Rubio is his open-borders stance but he wouldn’t stop the wall and wouldn’t be in a position to push amnesty. In fact, VPs don’t do much.
But he would add to the ticket:
1. Hispanic
2. Cheerful happy warrior
3. Articulate
4. Conservative on most issues.
5. Young attractive for the Twitter crowd
Trump would have to keep Marco away from company credit cards though if you know what I mean.
Yeah, I just saw that newsflash, about John Fn Kerry. Wonder what caused him to suddenly determine ISIS is committing genocide, against Christians.
Trump’s been telling him, for months, now. Wonder what FINALLY woke Kerry/0 the he## up.
Good for you, dear usafa92!!
Thank you for your NJ efforts/leadership. Wish I was up there to lend a hand. I know there is also a FR/Trump NYC area contingent. Maybe all could join forces?
It gets pretty rank around this place about this time, every 4 years. I TRY not to pay too much attention to it.
I like Cruz because we agree on virtually every issue. But, I recognize his likability issues.
From Day 1, I've thought Trump had a real chance to walk away with this thing. I've NEVER been a "Trump hater". Just not my first choice. He brings a lot to the table that I really like.
But, my word.... say that around here? And you get deluged with a bunch of sick crap. It's enough to change your mind, if you let it. I try to remember: Passions are high, and alcohol fuels many late night comments.
This too, shall pass. :-) Eventually, we'll all be on the same team again. At least, the ones who are still here.
Go NJ! Thank you for volunteering!!
We have to go ALL IN!
Usually Oregon and Washington are meaningless but this year could be different.
If he’s still short when ours rolls around I will be a proud Trump activist out here!
Sorry, but disagree completely, about lil Marco. His Gang of 8 affiliation was his kiss of death. Not to mention his cRuz handshake.
He’s also short (has to wear heel boots) and slimy.
Well he was in Vietnam you know....
;0)
