Republicans are in good shape this year because we have one outsider who will attack the uniparty/oligarchy (Trump), and another outsider who is quite conservative and very strong on the constitution (Cruz).

Either way, we win.

What you’re seeing is history. D.C. has hoodwinked and defrauded Americans for decades with their reckless bought and paid for insider loser leadership.

Plain and simple, it took many events for most folks to finally realize we’ve all been had and the politicians in D.C. were operating on their own, with zero regard whatsoever for what benefited America or Americans.

It’s just now reaching a boiling point.

Electing democrats was the plan all along. This has Bill Clinton written all over it.

Even if Kasich wins Ohio tomorrow, Trump stands to win over 250 delegates from the other 4 states. If he does anything close to the polling, he will easily exceed the required delegate count for the nomination.

The Day in the Life threads were strictly for fans to chit chat amongst themselves. At the time lots of people felt good about the Bush presidency. Those threads were not for open discourse. Sometimes, even on a generally political website, people just want to talk among friends and like minded people and not argue. There are many threads and topics on FR that are not the place to argue.
I don’t know why it’s difficult to understand why someone would be upset for another essentially raining on their parade. No one is forced to participate in anything on here, and there are plenty of threads and topics that encourage the back and forth, so it is never necessary to rain on a parade.

Just stop digging that hole you’re in, you’re making a fool of yourself.

You’re an idiot spouting words you picked up on DU, I guess. But the word”meme” was invented out of whole cloth in 1976 by noted atheist and communist Richard Dawkins. So keep on using commie language of you want to, but I’d stop if I were you.

Rush et al, have big sponsor$ to worry about. The reality is they’re the mouthpiece for establishment hacks. Way back when El Rushbo did his sleepover in a Bush White House, ya just knew something was starting to reek really bad. Limbaugh went on for years barely mentioning the country was literally being overrun and being invaded by millions illegally. Nope, back then it was all about golf, football, and feminizes. The lawless violent border were all but off El Rushbo’s radar. Most in the southwest U.S. were very aware of Rush’s avoidance of this epic lawlessness way back then. It was glaring.

So what are your standards? Jesus hasn’t announced his return yet.........

My standards are conservative principles that will never be represented by the GOPe. They are given lip service during elections, but every 4 years are the same as the previous 4 years. Government gets bigger, our liberties get fewer.

Our country faces an existential threat. My opinion is no one in the field can do anything to reverse this but Trump. All of us are being lied to in one way or another by our candidate of choice, but I find it easier to believe someone with 40 years of business success than someone who was wearing diapers 40 years ago. Our country doesn’t need a hammer and a crescent wrench, we need a bulldozer and a wrecking ball. There’s already a pile of rubble in Trump’s path and he doesn’t even have the keys to the White House yet.

Looking back now it's clear, they were duped along with a whole lot of other folks. The epic invasion, decline and debt of death was well under way even then. Some could see it, some couldn't.

He made one comment- or I should say lack of a comment- to a caller today that showed me he really has not bothered to learn anything about Trump. The caller suggested that maybe the whole Chicago rally was a setup- in other words here’s Trump, holding a rally smack dab in the middle of enemy territory, and did he know it would go south and then he ends up with millions of dollars worth of airtime.
So Rush says oh I don’t know really? do you think that?
So when Rush doesn’t have an answer, he sets it up so he can go either way later.
The fact is, what Trump did may have been daring (having a rally in Chicago), but Trump wants to talk to everybody, he wants to reach all the voters. What Trump has an uncanny ability to do- is to make lemonade out of lemons. His strategy is to always create a path to a win.
Imagine that with congress and the government? Imagine that with other countries?
A guy who is very smart, and who consistently works for a good and successful outcome.
THAT is what Rush should have known.
That he turned what could have been an epic fail- protesters shutting down his rally- and turns it into a prime time broadcast rally and the MSM is running it for free. And we get beautiful videos like the black Trump supporter arguing with the BLM people saying he wants a job and house, not a handout, he wants to work, etc etc. What better ad for Trump?

Anywhere? Than how come Trump is eating his lunch in most states? Especially, the South where Cruz was supposedly going to be invincible?

Sometimes people just want to forget their troubles. Lots of people liked Laura Bush, they found her classy and ladylike. Those threads were like a tea party where everyone could pretend everything was great. Remember all the terrible things that were going on, many folks on here had family deployed, including myself.
I think people just didn’t really want to think he was becoming a lousy president. But I do recall how mad people were here about no child left behind, about the prescription meds legislation, nobody was happy with the creation of homeland security dept either.
But the discussions about those issues were certainly not on the Day in the Life threads.

Look, you can call me delusional all you want. But you guys are the ones living in the Trump delusion where trump can do no wrong, and all his detractors are evil tools of the uniparty.

We’ll get in touch again after reality sets in next week.

Well, lets be honest, folks getting thrown out back in the Ws day was certainly not limited to or isolated to the Day in the Life threads. It was pretty routine if the Bush clique wolfed packed a target enough back then, they’re days were likely numbered.

Btw, I have never been for banning anyone except the very obvious worse who actually needed to be booted. So there ya have it.

"If Trump gets 1175 delegates and doesn’t get the nomination because of the GOPe robbery like what Boss Hogg did in MS."

If he gets 1175 delegates than more people voted for someone other than him. It's not his nomination. He has to win it.
