Well, I guess that when Pres. Trump “opens up” the libel laws to put dissenting newspapers out of business, maybe he also can open up the slander laws — so as to put dissenting radio stations out of business. What a glorious day it will be!

Honestly, I think it really is over for Cruz unless Kasich wins Ohio and then immediately drops out.
Any other combination and the momentum and inevitability just lead to resignation.
I can’t see the entire anti-Trump GOP really coalescing behind Ted Cruz. The parts just don’t fit together.
If Trump’s nomination becomes inevitable, the main stem of the GOP will just more or less “sit this one out” financially and in November.
I hear he’s all in on the faux assault of a reporterette by Trumps campaign mngr., calling for him to resign.

I heard Rush say that because he wants Kasich and Rubio out for his boy Cruz, even though he said all the years on the Radio I don’t get involved in the primaries - I never heard so many people say that Rush is 100% Cruz and defended his statements against Trump in Politics
He even jumped down a caller who said to Rush that Cruz is getting real close to the Establishment with that statement and Goldman Sachs.
Rush never said if Trump win Ohio and Florida how Cruz has a path to the nomination with New Jersey and New York still to vote.

I happen to hear that Rush segment. I also wondered how Cruz was going to get to the nomination if Trump won Ohio and Florida. I did hear Gingrich say that if Trump won Florida and Ohio it was all over and Trump would be nominated.
So whom do you believe?
Cruz would beat Trump head to head anywhere.
Trump’s current base is solid and adoring but there’s another world out there.
Trump’s base has not grown despite all the little stories about this or that person switching to Trump because Cruz supported the protesters which is a bald-faced lie.
But trumpers never mind that do they?

You cannot find one poll that shows Trump beating her.
And don’t tell me you don’t pay attention to polls... you worship them when they show Trump winning.
IF Trump wins FL & OH why WOULDN’T you want him as your candidate considering how much enthusiasm he is bringing? This just tells me that their is another reason they don’t want Trump and it has to do with the fact that he isn’t beholden to them (For real, not just chatter like Cruz who absolutely needs them now)
I’d give trump the New England states. The rest of the country goes Cruz in a head to head.
Those same New England states will go Hillary in November so...
