Super Tuesday 2: "Boots on the ground" stories and observations from polling stations (only)

This thread is for reports from the front lines only. No discussion of tariffs or policy or anything else. How did you vote and what did you observe from others at your polling station? Is your precinct a liberal or conservative one and what did turnout look like? Anything you can glean from what you observed today at the polling stations?

I came to the polling place, and there were people there voting. They voted, and I voted. And then we went back to our cars and left.

I early voted in Florida this past Friday. Everything seemed on the up and up. Very professional. We have paper ballots which require you to bubble in your choice. There was nothing else on the ballot except the primary, so it took all of 30 seconds to bubble in my choice. When done, I was instructed to insert my paper ballot into a scanner which presumably scanned the ballot and stored the paper ballot. This is a fairly conservative district in a medium sized city. The poll workers were mostly elderly volunteers. It wasn’t too busy, but then again it was early voting.

Thanks for the report. Glad to hear it went smoothly and seemed on the up and up.

Okay great. No problem.

I try to spot those who probably wanted to respond to the thread starter, but missed it this time.

LOL. There's always one in every crowd. Coincidentally, that's exactly what happened when i voted a few weeks ago.

Why do you have to make it so complicated? I had trouble following it all./s

Did they have a table with baked cookies and brownies for sale just outside the voting room?

No, we’re one of the last, June 7th. (California)

That’s why we so seldom affect the nomination process.

Me too, also in Dayton. My realtor just came over for pics of my house. “Who did you vote for?” “You know who I voted for .. . Trump.”

Four more from my family for Trump later today. I did NOT vote for any Republican down ticket, save three of my personal friends. Other than that-—Portman, DeWine-—no votes.

“...we so seldom affect the nomination process.”

That may change this year, but hopefully Trump will have it wrapped up by then.
