Rush Limbaugh was a lot like Levin before he lost his hearing.
Getting into fights using closed captioning takes the timing and fun out of it.

On KTRH in Houston the guy who is on before Levin is Michael Berry. Over the last few weeks berry has been so far in the tank for cruz and against Trump his show has devolved in to a trash trump screech for several hours a day.

Yesterday berry was even trashing Hannity.

Trump has brought out what some of the talk radio guys are really all about.

I sense that both Rubio and Kasach are hanging on in order to drag both Trump and Cruz down.

I had to turn Mark off, he is falling apart. Could it be that his type of conservatism ended with the death and burial of Nancy Reagan?

He seems to be having hysterical fits since Cruz is not winning. He is going to give himself a stroke.

I managed today to listen to 4 minutes of his anti-Trump rampage and clicked the OFF button.

If Trump wins, Levin will have a window put in the underground bunker so he will have something to jump out of.

He keeps saying 'we need a new Republican party.' He just never says what he expects it to be.

Goldwater couldn't reform the party.
Reagan didn't reform the party.

Trump is brining in the bigger tent people and both the Levins and GOP establishment are having fits over it.

Cruz/Kasich/Rubio are not bringing in many new voters. Not even the Hispanic voters.

It also comes down to a matter of trust. Trust the politicians (Cruz/Kasich/Rubio to do what they promise?) Many seem to believe Trump will do more to try to keep his promises. The massive number of Republicans sent to DC in the last 16 years have been mostly disappointing -- individually and as a group.

He's frustrated because conservative candidates are not gaining traction. Yesterdy, I thought he was going to blame Trump for running, because Trump overshadowed Cruz. Cruz was slow to get out of the gate, and he's gaining momentum now, but 8s it enough? Levin is frustrated that 1) Trump is bigfooting the race, 2) Rubio and Kasich are happy to play spoiler, and 3) the establishment is planning to rig the convention regardless.

Up until today, Levin was saying that whomever gets close to 1,237 should win. Today, he's suddenly a "rules is rules" guy, and 1,210 is not 1,237.

Levin can't blame Trump for being popular; Trump has just as much right to run as anyone else who is eligible. To me, Kasich and Rubio are more to blame for not getting out. Levin blames Trump for the tone of the debate, but Fox News set the tone at the first debate, and Levin was furious at Fox back then for the wasted opportunity. That Cruz got squeezed out by Fox at the first debate was also a contributor.

So, yeah, he's angry. But he's "lashing out at everyone" angry rt now, because his horse isn't winning.

I understand Mark’s passion but it is a bit much. I felt that way on Friday. In some ways it is not much different than the divisions I see on FR. It is a crazy a passionate election year for sure.
