With Ohio Gov. John Kasich having won his state’s GOP presidential primary, the national Republican Party is setting up the narrative that its future now depends on Kasich.

In a press release, Kasich campaign chief strategist John Weaver said with Kasich winning Ohio – the only state he has won thus far – the primary race is a “whole new ballgame.”

Cruz and Kasich on a debate stage together is a sleep aid. Nobody will bother to watch with the Donald occupied elsewhere. I’ll bet Megyn is wringing her hands. LOL!

Victory in November doesn’t necessarily mean winning the WH for GOPE. Hillary winning will do just fine for them. They believe they can work with Hillary on mutual government largesse and all the while fundraising on the fact that they are fighting Hillary tooth and nail and they need to be elected for another term to be the check and balance against Hillary.....Yada. ....Yada. ......Yada

Ohio is an open primary so many Rats probably crossed over to vote for Kasich. Big deal he won his home state and did get over 50%.

Wrong his purpose is to get enough votes to force a brokered convention then the political class will tell us who the nominee is

I agree partially with what you wrote. However, at this point, a vote for Cruz is also a vote for a brokered convention. Realistically, it is Trump or a brokered convention with a very unpalatable pair of Rinos shoved down our throats.

You all need to realize this and stop being in denial about Cruz winning this thing or his electability.

So the decision is up to you, Trump or a Rino. Vote for Cruz if you like, but you need to understand what you are really doing.

How’s about the ego of the political class? They think we are idiots and that they know best. Most are two bit shady lawyers who pat you on the back while stealing your wallet.

Kasich also said yesterday he would be the nominee.

You would be better off asking random homeless people their opinions about Kasich’s future—you are more likely to get an honest and informed statement.

He’s delusional. Like like Little Marco.

GOP fat cats look to waste more money on a guy who can’t win anywhere.

They don’t call the GOP the Stupid Party for nothing.

“I wonder if Kasich is angling for a job from Trump.”
____________

No doubt; however, Kasich is GOP-e and is on the WRONG side of ALL 3 KEY Trump ISSUES: IMMIGRATION/THE WALL; TRADE and the 2nd AMENDMENT!

I definitely would not want Kasich a heartbeat away from a 70-year-old, type A, President Trump. If he wants to be Postmaster General; well, reluctantly, OK.

I have some real problems w/Ted on his recent qualified position on the 1st Amendment; however, I would much rather see Ted mend fences w/Trump than see some sort of GOP-e brokered deal between Trump and Kasich.

One after the other, the GOPe chosen candidates have failed: Bush, Rubio, Cruz, now Kasich. At a certain point we wonder if it’s more comedy than tragedy?

The GOPEmporer has no clothes.

Is that like pinning your franchise's hopes on a 36 YO quarterback who's fractured his clavicle three times in the last two years?

I suppose that means Marco Rubio was the GOPe's equivalent of Kellen Moore, or was that Jeb!? lol

I called this days ago. Kasich stole Ohio. NO way in hell did he make up 20 points and leave Cruz with 14% of the vote. No way.

Not unlike Iowa I fear. This is plan B.

Cruz could end this easily if he really cared about the Country, but he don't/won't. He is a baby compared to most politicians who seek the presidency, and would have an easier run next time. Besides do we really want need another retired King to support for maybe 40 years after they leave office?
