What will the RATS do if Cruz, born in Canada to a Cuban father, is the VP?

True Trump supporters will not want a Trump/Cruz ticket, because they won't want to give the RATS the best weapon to destroy Trump's chance of winning.

Now the Cruz supporters are not sure their chosen candidate will win. So they are 'settling' for Cruz to be the VP. This is a winning proposition, they say? NOPE! and they know it, but they are hoping that their chosen can stay in the game to rise later... The problem that plagues Cruz's presidential bid - his constitutional ineligibility (foreign born to foreign father) will plague Cruz for his VP bid as well!

Article 2 specifies only nbc can be president or VP.

His supporters might not agree, but the RATS will most certainly insist that Cruz, born in a foreign country to a foreign father, is NOT constitutionally eligible to be the president or the VP, and they will remove him!

So if you want Cruz to be the president or the VP, you are in effect, giving the RATS the best weapon with which to destroy any winning chance we have.

A Trump/Cruz ticket is the worse idea - it is equivalent to the anti-Trump 'thing' that is going on now, because it will result in the ticket being disqualified!

I am sure you are not as anti-Trump as the left/GOPe/media, but a Trump/Cruz ticket will prove to be THE one fatal move that enables the left to win, something that their current tactics can't accomplish.

They will howl at the moon in frustration and rage.

...and then lose in a landslide to Trump/Cruz.

Alan Grayson (D-Demented-FL) has already stated numerous times that if Cruz is the nominee (or presumably the VP nominee) that he will immediately file suit against Cruz claiming he is ineligible to run.

Doesn’t matter if it ends up being ruled one way or the other, the damage it would do would totally hamstring any Republican presidential campaign.

But isn’t that the reason why so many believed Obama was not eligible to being President?

That he was allegedly born in Kenya to a Kenyan father.

I’d rather they take a VP out with a court challenge than a newly elected POTUS. That would lead to a Constitutional Crisis and all sorts of bad things (think “Obama Overtime”)

If they complain that he is a foreigner, the GOP should point out that the Democrats don’t hold the view that foreign born people are any different than all Americans. It’s their policy.

Same thing they’ll do if he is the “P”.

There is nothing alleged about Cruz being born in Canada to a Cuban father.

Only because at the time of his birth, his mother didn’t have enough residency in the U.S. to qualify him under the law at that time.

Cruz is eligible, so the Dems won’t do anything except file the same nonsense lawsuits that get shot down like they did to McCain.

When a remaining primary state declares Ted Cruz ineligible you let me know, OK!

To date, it ain't happened as much as you would like.

...sorry about that.

Forget Cruz, haven’t people been listening to Trump? He clearly stated that he wants as his VP someone who has a record of bringing parties together. This is NOT the Canadian Cruz Line. Trump knows he will need a VP that will ensure he keeps the Reagan democrats & Cruz in not that person.

Then why didn’t it hamstring McCain’s campaign when he was sued over eligibility? Or Obama’s? Enough “chicken little” hand-wringing over what those meanie weenie Democrats will do to us if we don’t back down preemptively.

The game is to block the GOPe. Cruz needs to win 80+ percent of the remaining delegates to win the nomination on the first ballot. I have a better chance of picking all the winners in March Madness. Cruz should withdraw from the election and tell his followers to vote for Trump giving him the first ballot nomination. The two outsiders bind together to stop the back stabbing and back dealing of the GOPe. The party and nomination is ours!!!

Maybe a Rat or two, like the unhinged birther-fever-swamp loons within the GOP, will file a lawsuit. The suit like all the ones already filed, will then be dismissed.

NBC stands for NoBody Cares (least of all judges).

claiming he is ineligible to run

There is no Constitutionally-recognized activity called "running for President", anybody can do it.

The Obama/ Kenya thing was big news for years. And in all that time Cruz never felt that he might have a problem?? His situation is WORSE than Obama because its guaranteed that Cruz was born outside the US with a foreign father.

No way is Cruz NBC.
