Rallying To Ted Cruz To Lose The Election
The Daily Caller ^ | March 17, 2016 | Scott Greer

Posted on 03/17/2016 3:30:46 PM PDT by GeaugaRepublican

The last Super Tuesday in March turned out to be the death knell for Marco Rubio‘s bid for the presidency and another triumphant night for Donald Trump. Trump won at least three contests while denying his biggest threat, Ted Cruz, a single outright victory.

Teddy isn’t falling for anything. He’s complicit.

If it’s Obama/Hillary vs the Deep State, then he doesn’t have a chance.

The left built the giant bureaucracy, and now they’re going to see what it looks like in revolt.

I don’t condemn anyone for how they do or don’t vote. But Trump is not the same because he’s not taking their money. That’s why the panic, the hatred, the decision to mow us down like Tiananmen Square if necessary to stop this rebellion. They are literally saying they will not allow this, will not let us elect an outsider. Doesn’t that scare you?

It’s not just another election where you get to pick the one who best reflects your values because that’s fantasy with this group. It’s a bloodless coup (hopefully) where we either force our will or surrender.

So no, there are no equally compelling reasons to not vote for Trump because he’s the only one not mortgaged to the Washington money machine. And he’s the only one they’re willing to openly fight us on. That says it all.

And many millions will not vote for Teddy. Including yours truly. I see no point in waiting in line to cast a vote for the uniparty’s designated loser.

Cruz was always the fall back guy for the D.C. establishment.

What were witnessing one big insider con job brought to us by the sultans of sham in D.C.

They have to know the jig’s up.

If the leftists really thought Trump would lose to Hillary, they wouldn’t be shrieking that he mustn’t be the nominee.

I want to blow up the system, too.

I just don't view Trump the same way you do. He's made his fortune working within the same system you want him to destroy. I'm listening to his words and they do not comport with what I hear his supporters say he will do. Instead I see an authoritarian who believes he can make the system work better than the politicians currently running it. not good enough.

I believe a return to the bedrock principles is this county's only salvation. Cruz, flaws and all, represents the closest we'll come to that end.

In the end I'd vote for Trump because, warts & all, he'd still be better for my own interests than another Maoist. But we could've had it so much better.

People who have always been prone to vote Republican may go ahead and support Cruz but not the Independents and Democrats who have come of the "don't bother" bench to vote for Trump.

Trump has appeals to a lot of people who have given up and who are pretty much resigned to suffering in silence because they see the system is rigged and both sides are essentially the same. Cruz doesn't have that sort of appeal and never will have that sort of appeal.

It boils down to what's most important; saving globalists who control the Republican Party or saving the country.

Second and almost as important to the uniparty is that a Teddy nomination sets them up to purge the noisome, irritating conservatives from the gop. It gives them a chance to say: “look, we ran a staunch comservative and he got clobbered. Now p!ss off. “

____________________

Quite right. They will run Ted, who they know will lose, then they tell us, conservatives lose us elections.

David Frum announced this earlier on Twitter today. He commented that the conservatives can only win small turnout off year elections. We need to be MORE MODERATE, but the conservative voters are pushing the party too far right.

The purge is coming.

You may well be right. And I pray you’re not. Because the other clear message that would be sent is that political change cannot be effected through the ballot.

That would come as no surprise to me. However confirming it in the minds of millions of already pissed off people would be a very, very bad message to send.

Good analysis -- for a moment I was soaring in the clouds, Windflier :- )

I definitely detect a refusal to look reality in the face, particularly the general election.

Trump has proven more than once he can attack Hillary -- and she gets message. A guy like Cruz can only wish that protesters would show up at his rallies.

But the left probably doesn't consider him a threat, so they leave him alone.

You do realize that Heidi was involved with both entities, right?

And I don't give a Teton Dam. As Richard Viguerie once wrote, none of these so-called "Master Conspirators" could conspire their way out of a paper bag.

Here is the bright spot.

Trump won’t listen to the establishment either.

Next few months are going to be fun.

Yeah, I’ve been saying that Teddy is the fall back position for the uniparty as well. They know the jig is up. The worrisome part is that the uniparty doesn’t seem to care that the mask is off.

Cruz CAN NOT get enough delegates to win the nomination.

What is he thinking?

In a brokered convention, do you think the GOP establishment is going to nominate him on the 2nd, 3rd or umpteenth ballot?

Nominate the guy who came in second behind Donald Trump? NO WAY.

The GOP Establishment may try to run roughshod on the voters and select “THEIR” candidate. possibly Mitt Romney, or Ryan.

So, CRUZ gets shut out entirely, not even a VP slot.

Cruz, your only hope for survival is to join forces with Trump and ask for a place in his administration (maybe Supreme Court Justice).

Right now, with the way you are going, it’s political suicide. You will end up with NOTHING.

The sooner you do join Trump, the sooner you get a nice slot for yourself, who knows maybe even VP. Tick tock, tick tock...

No, Cruz is not going to graciously lose to Hillary. He will NOT be the nominee, no matter what.

They all got bumped on the head and decided that Ted Cruz is a really likeable guy who would make a swell President.

Protecting the Bush Family business, since 1988.

Keeping the enterprise warm while George Bush is growing into his government job!
