In this most bizarre of presidential election cycles, every day seems to bring another jaw-dropping development. Donald Trump on the size of his genitals, Ben Carson and the Egyptian pyramids, Bernie Sanders socialist revolution, Hillary Clinton and the cloth she used to wipe her private email server clean. But its not just the candidates who have raised eyebrows in 2016. It's not over til it's over: inside the Sanders campaign's do-or-die moment Read more The latest startling phenomenon is the voter who is feeling the Bern, but also has eyes for the Donald.

Fascinating article. Trump and Sanders agree on where we are and how we got here. They just disagree on how we’re going to get out of this mess.
Remember over a month ago at some Bernie event where his supporters were seen chanting “SHE’S A LIAR” people keep on talking about if Cruz supporters would support Trump and if they dont what will happen, well NO ONE has brought up, will Sanders supporters vote for Hillary Clinton if she is the nominee, that is the question
Greta Van Sustern was interviewing DJT while the Chicago riot was on the television screen. He made this point: that both the many inside the arena and those blocking cars and throwing stuff outside were there over economics.
Black youth unemployment was at 59 per cent, he said, and inside the arena, people had seen no real increase in income in over a decade.
So this is no real mystery. But The Guardian doesn’t look at the evidence.
I agree. At least every D we know would do this or perhaps just not vote. They don’t like Hillary
Yep. And I'll bet that sleaze bag Chuckie Schumer can't think of anything to say about this! His trap will be shut tomorrow. In fact, he has probably lost his composure now and is having a ham sandwich!!
We may have folks who think the GOP is going to try to steal the candidacy, but Bernie supporters know the DNC is stealing it.
I’m for Trump, but if Sanders got the Dem nod and the GOPe screwed Trump out of the Repub nod in some way, I’d consider voting Sanders. I think socialism is a horrible ideology, but I do trust that he’s not a pawn of wall Street or anyone else really, and as such he’d probably do better by us than those who are completely corrupt.
You are exactly right.
They establishment keeps us fighting each other, but no more. I could never understand why they focused on Trump so heavily so quickly. It makes sense now. Can’t have voters comparing notes. Their complaints rest with the woman and her husband that have been leading the show for 30 years.
It’s pretty clear the panic that has set in has exposed the Uniparty for the corrupt institution it is.
Add to that, as Clinton’s corruption issues start to get national exposure, people will be livid with the DLC/DNC and they will be apoplectic.
So would I.
I thought it was just me.
Make them face their accountable for what they have done.
Should ppl ever make the connection that uniparty has been screwing both sides of the aisle for last 30 yrs at least-
you will start to see real panic from the elites-
” NO ONE has brought up, will Sanders supporters vote for Hillary Clinton if she is the nominee, that is the question”
Well, while they might vote for Trump, she sure won’t vote for Cruz!
Many people are already switching to independent or "R" from the DNC this election cycle. The mere fact that WHITES and Christians still in the DNC fold are no longer welcome, except for certain women of PREFERENCE, the rest may well bolt or stay at home out of disgust.
Would they vote for Trump... I don’t know, I’ve got several Bernie Burners on my list who have adamantly followed the herd ‘if you support Trump, don’t let me find out, or I’ll UNFRIEND you!’ I think that the meme crowd, who is a large number of Bernie Burners, are already inoculated against voting for Trump - a woman running for President is a fine fall back position.
The key, really, is in defeating the echo chamber most of these Burners live in. Since Trump has well demonstrated his campaign’s skill at social media, it’s quite possible they could break through and actually present positions to the Burners...
Then again, Jeb could still win the nomination - lots of things are possible this election cycle, quite a number of them are very unlikely. Truthfully, Trump’s biggest gains will be with those who took one look at the primary and said ‘I’m not voting for either the crook nor the commie.’
I’ll bet that Trump will be the nominee and if hillary hasn’t been locked up and is the demoncrat candidate, Trump will defeat her in the general in a huge landslide. A Huge landslide.
I was speaking with my Democrat neighbor this evening. He hates Hillary, but isn’t a Sanders fan at all. He wasn’t sure who to vote for.
I told him some of the reasons I’m voting for Trump. What really stood out for my neighbor is the fact that people who work with and for Trump, admire and respect him. The like their jobs, they don’t want to work for someone else.
My neighbor also hates what the establishment has done to our country, and realizes that there really hasn’t been anybody who is actually for the people. He knows hillary is a globalist, but he puts value on experience, and she’s the most experienced of the bunch.
That left him open for the idea that despite not having the experience, Trump does have a feel for what’s going on, and he knows how to hire excellent people.
It was nice to talk with the man, and he listened closely. He’s thinking.
IF Hellery is indicted, Trump will be President and chaos will rein for at least two years (it will take Trump that long to get things under control). Just pray that our real enemies don't attack in that time.
Me too. No establishment person.
I'll bet that as Trump gets closer and closer to the 1237 needed, all those men and women ch*theads at abc, cbs, nbc, cnn and msnbc are all running around weeweeing in their pants!
That is how Trump is winning.
One on one with sensible people.
I don’t proselytize because it would be obnoxious, but people know I am a political junkie, so when they ask, I tell and provide very reasonable reasons why I support him.
I have three primary voters who voted for someone else already getting enthusiastic about Trump.
