Republican Leaders Map a Strategy to Derail Donald Trump
NY Times ^ | March 19, 2016 | ALEXANDER BURNS and JONATHAN MARTIN

Posted on 03/19/2016 4:20:56 PM PDT by Innovative

Republican leaders adamantly opposed to Donald J. Trump’s candidacy are preparing a 100-day campaign to deny him the presidential nomination, starting with an aggressive battle in Wisconsin’s April 5 primary and extending into the summer, with a delegate-by-delegate lobbying effort that would cast Mr. Trump as a calamitous choice for the general election.

Recognizing that Mr. Trump has seized a formidable advantage in the race, they say that an effort to block him would rely on an array of desperation measures, the political equivalent of guerrilla fighting.

Republican Party FINALLY has a candidate that can win, and what does the RNC do? They partner with the DNC to destroy the man the people chose.

Tech billionaires (Major Dem donors) plot with GOP leaders at exclusive island resort to stop Trump

http://nypost.com/2016/03/08/tech-billionaires-plot-with-gop-leaders-to-stop-trump-at-exclusive-island-resort/

Billionaires, top tech CEOs and leading figures of the GOP establishment gathered on an island off the coast of Georgia this weekend for a conference where the main topic was how to stop Donald Trump, according to a new report.

The business and party bigs’ strategy sessions came at the American Enterprise Institute’s annual World Forum on Sea Island, The Huffington Post reported, citing sources familiar with the gathering.

For a while Rush was saying that Trump is doing exactly what the gop has been saying they want. He’s bringing in more people to the republican party’s big tent.

Now Rush is sounding a lot different. I think he got some of those talking points he’s always talking about the democrats getting.

If their strategy is anything like their plans for running candidates against Barack Hussein Obama, Trump has nothing to worry about.

Here go the same bunch of cowards who roll over for Obama, now trying to get tough with someone who will upset their apple cart.

Here’s hoping Trump not only steamrolls his way through, but also takes note of every person involved in this. He can deal with them later, in his own way.

Sounds to me like it’s time for Trump to run as an indy since the GOP can’t keep its word to not be a bunch of backstabbing b*tches.

Which isn’t surprising considering that they don’t keep their word to anyone.

Rush sold out many years ago. The GOPe flashed cash at him and he has been in their camp ever since.

Again? How many now?

It is just more proof, of what we already know, that there is only one "establishment" party and they don't want Donald Trump gatcrashing their private club.

Watching all of this unfold makes me underdstand how someone like Hitler rose to power. People get pissed enough and they want to see people hanged in the public square.

Those in power better start reading some history books.
