Help the workers by eliminating their jobs?
COULD cost jobs?
I wonder if Brown has a sign hanging on his doorknob that says “Genius At Work” or something. I’d like to go back to the 70s in a time machine and show everyone what a tyrant he was destined to become.
How is having hours cut “good for workers.”
It seems tyrants always start out being objects of ridicule. I’ll never underestimate another politician.
I will take “cost jobs” Alec.
15 dollar burger flippers. ROTFL! You go Cauliphonya!!!
The 15 dollar minimum wage will just encourage more mechanization of jobs. The agriculture industry is working on this 24/7.Fast food too.
You overestimated the good sense of California voters. They’re the real reason that twit is back.
Brown and the democrats don’t want the $15 minimum wage on the ballot because it might not past. Even in California there are some smart people. The politicians are going to ram this through in Sacramento.
I haven’t had much respect for my fellow California voters for quite some time.
Yay .... more jobs moving out of California and eventually overseas as the US adopts the $15/hr Federal Minimum Wage. People forget that there is something called “Cause and Effect.” Don’t forget that all other wages will have to be adjusted accordingly.
It was a contest Jerry Brown vs Andrew Cuomo.
Obviously, Crazyfornia beat him to the punch...
Again, this is precisely why I no longer support the GOP or conservative organizations. They should be out there educating people that the minimum wage hurts the very people it's intended to help.
Less hours + more pay = good
Got it?
The same people will be voting for Sanders.
So, someone making $14/hr will get $19?
This whole thing is pushed by unions whose wages are set at minimum wage plus so many dollars. They get an unnegotiated raise.
Costco is developing RF chips for its goods so that you will push your cart through a sensor and your card is charged. No more checkers. Others will follow, so the scanner cashier will go the way of the buggy whip.
When Juan Peron became President of Argentina, he gave everyone a 3,500 percent raise. The populace became angry because the inflation rate was over 5,000 %.
It's the Dem way. Help the workers lose their jobs so they can get on welfare easier.
This will bankrupt California’s mountain counties and many smaller public entities.
