Brown held a press conference announcing this. It was insane.
One of the Ds spoke for a while in English then in spanish. A woman on stage with bleached hair and piercings cried and hugged Brown. She was interviewed and said that she has a 4 month old baby and she works at Burger King and was complaining she did not have a living wage.

After that wages would rise with inflation, though in tough economic times the governor could delay increases.
So they apparently do understand that, especially in tough times, raising the minimum wage is bad. Also, will the minimum wage fall with deflation? Or is it only able to go up?
