So you’re saying that you’re “above the fray” and you think nothing of it because you’re “better than that”?
I think he is responding to some callers recently who have accused him of blatant pro Trump bias as well as blatant pro-Cruz bias. He is basically saying he can’t winno matter what he does, which may be true.
I personally think Rush is a GOPE guy. He’s been pushing the GOP his whole radio life, and I don’t think he intends to stop now.
I have a slightly different take on Rush 2016, but I agree with what you said.
My take.
1) Rush makes roughly 70 million a year from his syndication folks, and a percentage of ADVERTISING revenue. I believe it now affects his content.
2) Rush as roughly 400 million, and his goal for years is to be a part owner of an NFL team. This is making him pay attention to both the syndicate, and advertisers.
In summary, he is no longer his own man.
That show last night was absolutely mind boggling.

That may be true, I don’t argue. But my position in things as the way they are now is that you either have convictions or you do not. If you do, then you should voice your opinion and stand by it. To do otherwise is to disingenuous.

I agree. Contrast to how he used to broadcast twenty years ago, back when he was "poor." Perhaps now his wealth owns him, rather than the other way 'round?

That’s how he is in my house too. Just heard him say he has a personal ban on giving his opinion on Trump. He will report facts, no opinion.
I can’t argue with that. I guess I’m just kind of happy hearing no opinion on that subject after hearing Levin’s opinion on it.
