Despite no proof and lots of denials, the story refuses to die...It’s been a week since the National Enquirer reported that “pervy Ted Cruz” was “caught cheating” with five unnamed women. Cruz and two of the women who have since been identified have vehemently denied the allegations, and no one has presented any evidence. Yet the sordid story has made its mark, even in this sordid campaign season.

As a lawyer he has heard of New York Times v. Sullivan, which effectively makes it impossible for public figures to sue for libel or slander.

Notice he dispels rumor by mentioning the employee who witnessed and could appear in court. That takes it out of the hearsay/rumor category
Calling the story garbage and having Carly answer for you is not really addressing it. Again, I don’t know if he did this or not, but I think he should have answered the reporters question directly, instead of letting Carly take it and deflect the subject to Trump’s infidelities. It looks even worse when you realize that Carly cheated on her first husband.
I am sorry that this situation is upsetting you enough that you feel like you must call everyone liars.
The person(s) I am referring to are Amanda Cooper’s brother and his wife who said, “It’s true. They were together only a few times.” She added her sister-in-law, “was transfixed by Ted. He has a way of selling ice to an Eskimo.”
From the story, “I asked when the affairs occurred. “Right before Ted’s campaign for Senate,” she said. “They’d get together when Cruz visited DC.” She added, “The whole family knows, everybody knows about this.”

Hoodat, you might think about keeping your tone a bit more civil and explain why it is that you do not believe the info that is out there. Jumping up and down, calling every one liars, and holding your breath is not the most effective means of convincing others that you have a good argument.

Beyond the indiscriminate sex that can infect a person’s body and their innocent spouse, it infects their soul. They feel entitled by their position and power to take what does not belong to them. They are then subject to bribery and blackmail for monies or votes in Congress. That’s the real issue.
And there are questions regarding the transfer of $500,000 to another PAC that coincide with the time Carpenter left a lucrative career at Cruz’s office. And BTW, the rumor and gossip about these two began before she had left her job for Ted. June 9, 2015. Trump had not yet entered the potus race.

Ask yourself why you feel compelled to lie about Ted Cruz.
It matters for the same reason that Clinton banging his interns mattered. It's behavior that he wants kept secret, and foreign intelligence services lap this stuff up. If you're a servicemember with a high-level security clearance, you'll lose it in about 10 seconds after an affair is exposed. Why? You're susceptible to blackmail now, and you've proved a severe lack of integrity. I worked in a counter-intelligence unit, and they take this stuff very seriously for good reason. Shrugging it off for a would-be POTUS is not wise.

And the story of the Journalist having an affair with a candidate running for president is repeated again online in August and December. These suspicions of an affair have been circulating for a real long time.

Its all out there in the media. Ask yourself why you think the lyin 7th King is such a great pick for President. That’s a better question. Most of us have figured him out already. You are behind the curve. If Ted Cruz likes the young things that’s the least of our worries about him.
