It's ridiculous to think Donald Trump leaked the Cruz Enquirer story or had anything to do with leaking it. If he did, the Trump campaign would have been strategic and leaked it to the Enquirer BEFORE the Utah Primary, in reaction to Mitt Romney's GOPe fascism.
Supposedly, Ted wasn't a BMOC with the girls. Did he even date when he was in college? How come no old girlfriends have surfaced ?
Frankly, I find Teddy very unappealing, but re Heidi, there's no accounting for taste.
So HOW he managed to get "INVOLVED" with all of these other women, I don't understand; however, Bloody Kelly practically leapt into hi lap, as she fluttered her false eyelashes at him, anytime she has him on her show. *shrugs*
I haven’t gone back to see how I could rephrase but I can restate the basics:
The sex scandal story had to leak sometime.
The question was when would it do the GOPe the most good?
Cruz is GOPe of course. So is Kasich. So was Rubio. All but Trump.
Trump gives a good, no — great — speech at AIPAC.
(Let’s say Trump’s speech is the tipping point for the GOPeCruzers to leak the story)
Cruz baits him with Melania GQ; then tries to pin the NE leak on Trump as the story rolls out.
Their hope was that putting out the story right now could potentially do Trump the most harm while least affecting CruzGOPe’s chances at stealing delegates from Trump.

I will add that globalists live in democracies and we are a Republic.
We need to have the balls to rise up and get our Constitution back.

He’s got enough smarts to not double down on Cruz as the guy slowly showed his character over the last several months. Dying to hear what Hannity will say on Monday.
The strategy was this:
Cruz sex scandal had to come out sometime, when would it benefit GOPe the most?
After Trump’s triumphant Israel AIPAC speech, that’s when!
Strategy was: pick a fight with Trump over Melania photos.
Get Trump to react in kind.
Blame Trump for Cruz’s leak TO GET OUR MIND OFF THE SUBSTANCE OF THE STORY.
And throw in that maybe Katrina Pierson was Cruz’s floozie, too. (Not).
But wait for a lull in the primaries after a big “moral Mormon” win in Utah.
Very logical predictions. You may be right. I would like to see Cruz done, I don’t know how he will finish his campaign. I don’t think he has crying mea culpa in him.

So, it’s not that Trump has enough class and honor not to release a sleazy, thinly sourced, character assassination piece on Cruz, it’s just that Rubio beat him to it?
Cruz and the GOPe joined forces years ago. Cruz just knew he couldn’t get elected by Tea Party if we knew.
Rubio is GOPe. Cruz is GOPe. This was leaked by GOPe when it could hurt Cruz the least and Trump the most.
