Quite so, similar to once was the east of Boston populace where I grew up which became ‘Metro West’(the Twinkie factory town).
Same applies (or did, it’s lessening) for the Lakes Region of NH. It was the last bastion of conservatism in that state.
Maine, I don’t know now. It seems that the coastal areas are incursion zones for ideological invasion/infestation.
I suppose to keep a positive outlook, we should remember Lt Col Chesty Puller:
“They’ve got us right where we want them. We can fire in any direction now!”
Plenty of underground land in Antarctica. ..
Lebanon, Vermont?
I think it is great that they have lots of children. More people should have children, more people who can raise and afford them.
I have non Mormon Catholic relatives on one side of the family with over 45 grandchildren and at least 10 great grands.
“Were they lovely ladies? (Oh, and I dont mean the cats)”
All Mormon ladies are lovely, with the exception of Glenn Beck. The cats look better than Beck, too. (Can send pix to prove it.) Hope that helps.
Glenn isn’t a lady
frankly I cannot think of anything wrong with this. Good neighbors, and taxpayers who will bring money into the area, not eat up welfare and contribute to the state.
Wish they would come to Maine.
I strongly disagree with your statement about Mormons operating just like muslims and they don’t treat their women like second class people.
I, as a child, was also raised a Mormon and descended from one of the original pioneer families. My gr.gr.gr. grandmother & grandfather had 15 kids that gave them a whopping 136 grand-children! Imagine having to celebrate someone’s birthday every 2.6 days. Yikes! We have a hard time keeping up with the 7 we have now.
Maine has been trending red for several years....the northern part anyway. What’s happened in New Hampshire is a shame. Was once a steady conservative state.
They also plan to develop a curelom herd that stretches from sea to sea.
Only hold-up seems to be finding any evidence that even one ever existed.

What difference does it make

Ask John Moses Browning.
Nope. Stuck to rural Vermont, near Plymouth Notch, Calvin Coolidge’s home town. Nearest big town was Lebanon, New Hampshire, which I realize is home to Dartmouth but, even still, did not have your usual Ivy League hippie hangout feel.
Amen. Mormons make great neighbors. Wish we would’ve never ran them out of Pennsylvania.
Thanks for confirming my thoughts about Maine.
I think NH may lose it’s last area to libs/soc as they gain wealth and move into the Lakes Region.
I remember the first time boating past Madame Chiang Kai-shek’s residence on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, being told of who she was, why she was living there and learning more about history than was taught in school.
I also won’t forget, a few years past, the buses from Mass with people getting off to vote. (cars with Mass plates at voting areas was not uncommon due to Mass people either having a NH residence or using one to register in order to avoid car insurance costs in Mass).
It all reminds of Mel Blanc on Jack Benny... (w/liberty):
Si, sigh
Screw you.
“Screw you.”
Very “unchristianlike response!”
Screw you.
I’m calling boloks. I don’t believe you.
Creepy Mormons alert
Won't Jesus be a bit confused when He comes back?
