The leftists miscreants who revel in tearing down our Judeo-Christian roots will be shocked at how Muslims view and treat some of their core members (women and sexual deviants); it will be too late when they come crawling back begging for Christian intolerance (as compared to that of Muslims).

How do you know that this knucklehead is a Seventh Day Adventist? These murders sound like a hate crime and an honor killing to me.
The Daily Mail quoted some writings from the son in which he claims to be, and insists on being called, “Prince Christ”.It was full of delusions.
There is much more to this story than we are being told, and yes, the media is trying to use this for propaganda purposes in an election year.

It is equally possible that the homosexual progeny engages in the heavy drug use that typically goes with that lifestyle. His mother could have caught him stealing from the family home to support his habit, and he might have killed her in his panic.

When it is a choice between gays and Islamists, the leftists will be quick to throw the gays under the bus. The left is right now quiet about such things but as Islam gets more powerful thanks to the ISIS members Obama is importing, such crimes will be commonplace here, and the leftists will have to justify them in their usual loud, self-righteous way. You will hear leftists defend mosques that incite violence against gays but the same leftists will condemn churches that don’t perform gay “marriage” ceremonies.
The Westboro “Baptists” are a pack of lawyers with a lawsuit scheme, moreso than a religious group.
So you kill your son, not a hate crime. Kill him for being gay, hate crime.

I read another article. Headline is deceptive.
According to Wikipedia Darrell Issa’s father was a Lebanese American of the Maronite Catholic faith and his mother is of German and Bohemian (Czech) descent.

There is another possibility. Though downplayed in the media, the wife and mother was also *stabbed* to death, and the father said he shot the son because he was advancing on him with a knife.
As to background, the father and mother owned a dwelling, and the son had been living in a part of it. But the parents decided the son should move out, and they planned to sell the property.
The big question is what happened to the knife. There must have been a knife, as the mother was stabbed to death.
The son also had drug and mental health problems.
They are some sad sonzabitches!

I don't doubt there was a lot of hate; LA Times article gives lots of background; drugs, unclean spirits, etc., destroy another family.
