Well, I’d vote for on hotness alone.../S

That's why FReepers like her. If she was exactly the same person except she looked like Helen Thomas, FReepers would hate her.

Trump should announce immediately that Palin will be his running mate if he wins the nomination.

The counter-argument is that, in spite of her endorsement, Trump lost Alaska. My reply to that is that Palin has never been beloved by the Alaska GOP Establishment,

It may be that Alaska Republican voters are a bit miffed at Palin for endorsing the democrat-supported ex-RINO Lib scumbag (and his Dem running mate, who was illegally added to his ticket with the acquiescence of a lawless lib court after the official dem gov nominee dropped out) for Governor in 2014 against the conservative Republican Governor. The new lib Governor, Bill Walker, is already doing his damnedest to destroy the state. The lib "won" by a small margin, her endorsement may have swung it. I wouldn't be loving Sarah if I lived in Alaska.

Well said! Agree 100%. If nothing else, Trump has served this nation by exposing the rotten to the core GOPe.

Uh, no. Damaged goods, won’t bring her state or any gravitas to the ticket.

Don’t get me wrong, I like her. But not for Veep. Secretary of the Interior, maybe.

Sarah has had decades to improve her screechy voice and it is just worse and worse. I have always liked her, and everything she says, but her voice has become intolerable.

I-I-I-I-I can’t stand listening to Cruz because of his clothespin-on-the-nose voice, a-a-a-a-and the affected stammer.

I think the fact that Alaska Republicans decisively voted for Cruz after she endorsed Trump speaks volumes. Sarah Palin might still have a significant fan base nationally, but her popularity among Alaska conservatives has waned significantly.

I also agree with Impy that Palin endorsing a liberal RAT running in the guise of an "Independent" was inexcusable.

I have a hunch that if she had endorsed Cruz, you and other Cruz supporters would be loving her tenderly...

Sarah’s okay; she is even still promoting Ted (in a way); here’s an email flyer she just put out a few days ago:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/gop/3415284/posts?page=17#17

Don’t know if it was sent out in error or not, but of course it would have been great if she had endorsed Ted Cruz.

And she’s not insulting toward Trump like Dr. Carson is (this election is getting crazier by the minute):

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/274994-carson-on-trump-are-there-better-people-probably

And I heard this particular speech of Sarah’s was given in an area where Trump is not as popular, so I’m assuming that is why her speech wasn’t as well received as the ones you watched.

Marsha Blackburn does it for me, plus she’s got D.C. bona fides.

I think it's the jealousy factor. Sarah is over 50 years old and she looks fantastic and very feminine. Normally when women get over 50, they cut their hair short and stop wearing dresses and skirts. They do not like older women like Sarah Palin showing them up. That's just my theory anyhow.

You be right.

“I’ve maintained for years on FR that the proper response for the GOP was to take out an important Democrat or two in direct response to the Palin takedown.”

The GOP establishment was unmasked when they failed to come to Governor Palin’s defense in her darkest hour of need. She was allowed to suffer the slings and arrows of the MSM’s unrelenting attacks on her, because her natural political allies had already made common cause with the enemies of the people.

What’s even sadder, is the fact that she did so much to help some individuals gain office, who would later turn around and betray her (and our) trust in them.

Yo Ted, are you listening?

...Sarah quit her position as governor, for no good reason.

Opinions on her reason vary. She'd have been spending too much time fighting off baseless, harassing suits to be effective as governor.

Yes, she could, but someone up thread mentioned Todd’s injuries, and she might not be available for 1st term. I’d take her either way!

I was referring to Ivanka. Sarah doesn’t want it. Maybe Energy Secretary
