File this one under A Liberal Discovers Media Bias . . . Back in 2012, George Stephanopoulos somehow was permitted to moderate a Republican primary debate, and proceeded to harangue frontrunner Mitt Romney on the arcane matter of the right of states to prohibit contraceptive sales, thus abetting the Dems' "GOP War on Women" narrative. Republicans were rightly outraged.
Now, in an ironic twist, it's the turn of some liberals to doubt Stephanopoulos' ability to serve as an impartial moderatot . . . of a Dem debate. On today's Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski repeatedly expressed skepticism at the notion of Steph moderating a debate between Hillary and Bernie Sanders, given that George served as a senior aide to President Clinton and has been a donor to the Clinton Foundation.

I have no idea why Sanders would agree to walk into a debate moderated by a Clinton flunky. But then, I had no idea why the GOP would agree to it in 2012. Bill and Hillary have reputations as clever schemers, but I’m not seeing as much evidence of their craftiness as I am evidence of their opponents’ stupidity.
A former employee of one of the two candidates? Why what could be the problem??? LOL!!
This is a legitimate concern. Steffie was formerly on the Clinton team and he’s made it abundantly clear that he’s a political hack who will work to benefit his preferred team.
Romney is, was and always will be a liar.
Problem is, when you lie, you can artfully create scenarios to pander to the audience.
That caught up with him real quick.
Cruz is having the same problem. He’s evolving his answers and stealing Trump’s platforms. All of this will come out.
Why no more mention of illegal immigrants? Because BushCo don’t like that stance.
Throw in a red herring like ‘policing neighborhoods’ that is so outrageous nobody notices the obvious ‘deportation’ and ‘no/low immigration’ is missing from his platform.

That’s rich! Nobody ever complained about Steffi moderating Republican debates or Repub vs Dem.
Can you name one conservative debate moderator......ever?
