I've only recently become a Trump supporter. I was leaning toward Cruz, but couldn't go with him when he decided to collude with the GOPe, fully knowing (I have to imagine) that there wasn't a snowball's chance in Hell they would pick him in a contested convention. It's obvious that the GOP has decided to self destruct. Their disregard for conservatives and their complete disdain for the middle and working class has turned my stomach.
I've turned in my membership. I'm finished for good with the Republican Party. I've decided to go Independant from this point forward, and I've gotten to,wondering...
...how many folks here have moved out too?

I gave up my ‘card’ when the best they could come up with was McCain. McCain guaranteed Obama won. The ONLY thing the GOP did to garner any enthusiasm in ‘08 was put Palin on the ticket. Then, to insult us further, Romney. ROMNEY. The man who’s bastard afterbirth was the road map for Obamacare.
If they do stab the front runner, be it Trump or Cruz, they are worse than the democrats. They legitimized the loss of this nation by supporting the democrat agenda while lying the entire time to us.
You are in serious need of an imagination rejuvenation.
Can you see the size of the Cruz victory in Wisconsin? Do you not understand that Cruz and Trump between them will CONTROL the GOP convention? Do you not understand that there will be no possibility of any nominee outside one of these two?
Pick the one you like the best and work for him. But, stop with the pearl clutching.

I didn't say would vote for a Republican if he or she was the best one in the race and who held my views. I'm just done as a formal member of the party.
The Republican party doesn’t exist, only in name ever since it was hijacked by Democrat operatives. I was saying years ago we had to form a 3rd party, call it the REAL Republican party. I even remember saying we had 3 years left till the POTUS election and here we are: We’re going to have Hillary Vs. a Democrat operative and she’s going to be next POTUS. The operatives are going to install a Democrat operative like Ryan as the nominee and she will waltz right in.......and then we will know the true meaning of hell on earth.
All parties are vehicles. Let’s see if this one can limp into November.

Ted Cruz was never going to be the nominee, and never will be, and if the GOPe is successful in their efforts, neither will Trump. We’ll see on that second front.
But, I almost wish Ted Cruz did have a chance to win, just so you can be proven wrong when he did get to the oval office and did there exactly what he’s done in the Senate: talk a lot, vote with globalists and then make excuses, and accomplish nothing.
A contested convention will not end well for either you, or me.
