Cruz's reception in New York was chilly.
Back in January, Ted Cruz made the mistake of assuming the rest of America still hates New York. His dismissal of "New York values" didn't endear him to the Empire State — Governor Cuomo demanded an apology from Cruz, and the New York Daily News did what the New York Daily News does best — and as expected, the comment came back to haunt him as he campaigned in the Bronx on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, at a massive rally in Long Island, Donald Trump, who's polling ahead of Cruz in New York by a wide margin, used the senator's remarks against him. "Do you remember during the debate when he started lecturing me on New York values like we're no good?" Trump asked the crowd. "Folks, I think you can forget about him."

That was then. This is now. Military tactics change every 200 years or so.
Think about that.
Hmm. A city that elects an all-out COMMUNIST for mayor by an overwhelming margin. A governor that proclaims anyone with my conservative, traditional “values” is not welcome in the state. And the homebase of the a condescending media hub that spreads poison across the nation, and constantly attacks everything I value and believe in.
“New York Values” = foreign, enemy forces.
That picture represents people doing their job, no matter what, which can be found world wide. Raising the flag was honorable, but not a life threatening task, like the initial crisis.
It’s the concentrated liberalism that’s found in areas like NYC, that is helping to drive down this nation.
I find disappointment in both Cruz and Trump. But both are obviously much better than supporting a liberal.
There are some traditions that need to be upheld.
Tradition is extremely important to a military.
But where would he get his funding then?
“New York and, specifically, NYC is the BEDROCK of our American heritage and history.”

Conservatives are a really puzzling bunch.
Half of them in the beltway are CINOs.
The other half reject converts.

Guess it is mature to be a corrupt politician whose wife takes home $800K by Goldman Sachs. Love how Cruz always says he is not going to attack personally and then calls Trump every name under the book. Yeah, real mature.

Poor kids , they looked so bored and probably thought why am I being forced to come here.
Still at least cruz had more than a 100 , even if they were not wanting to be there.

I guess the subtle implication in Ted’s statement went right over your head. Ted spat that remark at Donald as an insult, and everyone watching saw it that way. It’s why he’s getting such a chilly reception in New York.
But continue explaining his faux pas away. Maybe you’ll convince New Yorkers that Ted didn’t really insult them.
Because of comparing themselves with men, instead of God, the Methodists, Presbyterians, Disciples of Christ, Nazarenes, etc. are all rapidly dropping in numbers in this corner of IL, while embracing more and more liberal ideology.
I dont see how Cruz is corrupt. He’s not perfect but he hasn’t bribed politicans, union leaders or bankers.
Trump has done all of those things.

The mainline denominations are all dying out.
The Nazarenes aren’t mainline, but they have other issues.
