What Kasich doesn't like to talk about, however, is that after the first few rounds of voting, the delegates are free to vote for whomever they want. Ryan's failure to participate in the primary won't matter.
.
.
.
Of course, Ryan has said he doesn't want to run for president. At least not right now. But his modus operandi has been to say he doesn't want something and then end up with it anyway.
.
.
.
So why not go with Kasich over Ryan at the convention? Because I'm not convinced Kasich can win if Trump runs as an independent, but Ryan can.
You see, most people don't realize it, but there's a rarely used provision in the U.S. Constitution that requires a candidate to get a majority of the Electoral College votes in the general election to win the presidency. Since the advent of the two-party system, this provision hasn't come into play. With three viable candidates that could more evenly split the vote, however, it could. And if a candidate doesn't get an electoral college majority, the Constitution says the Republican-controlled House of Representatives will get to decide who's our next president.

In the very classic King’s English, “This is some sh!t up with which I shall NOT put.”
No conservative should ever vote for this piece of $**t.
Welcome to the final set up for Civil War II people...
Real world wake up call. Those so called Cruz delegates hes been “stealing” since the GOPe Globalists took over his losing campaign are not pro-Cruz - they are anti-Trump. In other words they are the same party insiders as before who are not loyal to Cruz but to the GOPe.
He’ll never get my vote, i’ll let Hillary have it first!!!
“Wisconsin just handed Paul Ryan a path to the White House”
A path that leads off a cliff. Can you imagine the number of Repubs, conservatives and Trumpists that would stay home if the GOP ran someone selected by the party establishment and not the people? It would be the biggest Presidential election loss in US history and repubs in the house and senate would be massacred.
Staten Island English:
ryan can go @#$#$@ his @#$@#$.
it would be the extinction of the republican party.
Well, you are wrong and a little delusional.
Cruz is a constitutional conservative with a Conservative Review Liberty Score of 97% and he is outsmarting Duh Donald fair and square in the ground game of politics
Try not to believe all the lies Trump feeds you, especially the obvious ones.
To the nomination perhaps, but if this keeps up, Hillary will have the path to the WH as Republican voters become jaded over the whole spoiler and stop Trump by any means no matter how disenfranchised the People are.
Cruz was being funded by big money establishment guys via Mitch McConnell, supposedly Cruz's enemy, as early as December to the tune of millions, with Cruz guys even telling donors to send money to GOP Establishment Pacs. Cruz will do whatever his establishment masters tell him to do. He was a sleeper agent all along.
I think in the general they might be better off with Kasich anyway than Ryan, whatever the article says. Kasich comes off as a human being, Ryan comes off as a cultist.
They may well be enamoured with their own cleverness at theft by deception against the American people, but I think the Dems have caught on and will be factoring that into their pitch. End of the day, GOP brand will be mud.
Regardless, I will be voting for Trump, whether or not he appears on the ballot. When the world goes mad sometimes you just have to default with what you know is right!
Conservative Review is edited by Mark Levin, who is literally bought and paid for by the GOPe, who, through their establishment Pacs, have purchased as much as 400,000 dollars worth of his old books in order to get favorable coverage on his program. Levin was supporting Cruz via Conservative Review anti-Trump propaganda long before he officially began to do it on his radio program. Proof enough that Levin is a bought and paid for liar.
Neither Ryan nor anyone else without a crap load of elected delegates will ever be elected President for the GOP.
As we awaken to the stark realization that the path to our country’s restoration might no longer reside WITHIN the “system”....
>>Hell never get my vote, ill let Hillary have it first
And they are quite OK with that as well, as long as it’s one of THEM that retains control over us.
