Cruz Attacks Matt Drudge [AUDIO]
Daily Caller ^ | 4/11/16 | Steve Guest

Posted on 04/11/2016 4:21:10 PM PDT by markomalley

Sen. Ted Cruz claims that Roger Stone, The Daily Caller Men’s Fashion editor, “decides” what Matt Drudge posts on his website Drudge Report.

In an interview with Mike Slater on “The Mike Slater Show” Monday, Cruz said, “If people want to get on the “Trump train,” they can. I actually think we need real and meaningful solutions to the problems in this country, and as president my focus is going to be on three things: jobs, freedom and security.”

Slater asked Cruz what he thought of the Drudge Report and the Texas senator replied, “Look, Drudge Report over the years has done a good job highlighting the excesses of the left and the excesses of liberalism, and about the past month the Drudge Report has basically become the attack site for the Donald Trump campaign.”

“And so every day they have the latest Trump attack. They’re directed at me. It — by all appearances, Roger Stone now decides what’s on Drudge, and most days they have a six-month-old article that is some attack on me, and it’s — whatever the Trump campaign is pushing that day will be the banner headline on Drudge.”

“By the way, they no longer cover news. Remember they used to have things like election results? They don’t put those on Drudge anymore. When we win a state, suddenly the state doesn’t matter. You know Colorado — there was no red siren on Drudge when we won all 34 delegates in Colorado. That wasn’t news, because — I mean listen, that’s fine,” Cruz said.

Later Cruz said, “My number one priority is bringing jobs back to America, raising wages for everyone, making it easier for people struggling to achieve the American Dream. That’s my focus. And I’m going to let others worry about the silly political game and the circus.”

Swiping an illustration from a racist website to create a Cruz motivational poster is probably not a very good idea.

See for yourself:

Oh nonsense! Fact is, Drudge hasn’t had an article that has been positive toward Cruz in weeks! I have had enough of him!

BTW, here’s an alternative! http://socialnewswatch.com/

Reminds me, Roger Stone is posting home addresses of Cruz voters in Colorado. Shouldn’t that be illegal?

It should be illegal to call them voters because they weren't voters, just political hacks.

It's an exciting race now!!!!....both campaigns and their candidates are coming down to the wire and they are going to go at it hard in these next weeks before convention........it's "High stakes" plays now and especially ahead if this goes to convention...which even they expect it will.

It's a good time to watch where they go daily...what they're attempting to accomplish in the states they're in......where they field their volunteers and the ground game activities.

Most important is to watch the "plays" as you would a football game.....they'll be loads of tackling to keep each other from reaching the goal posts, for Cruz it's stopping Trump from getting the required delegates, and for Trump to try to win them. Trump needs to win the nominee BEFORE convention. If not...it's on to the next round which both teams are preparing for.

Trump underestimated Cruz's ability to be competitive.....he knows otherwise after the plays recently in NY and Colorado..... Trump took the bait when Cruz stepped into the Bronx, (Trumps backyard), therefore Trump cancelled the Colorado convention (where/when they select delegates), to remain in NY to secure his turf. Leaving the field wide open for Ted's sweep of the Colorado Delegates.

Doesn't matter to me....I don't pay attention either way to who hosts sites where I get photos....I simply grab them if they say what I like..... But if that's a problem for you well then don't look.

Meanwhile here's another like it....

Well. I think Drudge did lease out his site to Romney too. I wonder how much it costs to lease his site for campaign propaganda.

....”Reminds me, Roger Stone is posting home addresses of Cruz voters in Colorado. Shouldn’t that be illegal?”....

I don't know but there was rumors they were attempting to intimidate Cruz voters. Which of course we've certainly see Trump do tie and again with those who oppose him...and Stone is just like that as well.

Sadly, in this category Cruz is less qualified to be president than Obama. At least in Obama’s case his mother was an American. Cruz;s mother was/is a Canadian citizen and his father was a Cuban.

Which is why Ted is busy trying to discredit Drudge... he got news of the latest FACTUAL and VERIFIABLE onslaught.

I expect ted has found out that there is to be extensive confirmation after confirmation of every wicked deed Teddy has lied about, to his wife, to the deluded Christians, to the republican party, to every state where he is on the ballot...

THIS IS WHY HE IS TRYING to get ahead of Drudge to partially blunt those stories, testimonies, insider court records and legal actions/press releases that are coming like a coast to coast freight train for the next 6 weeks.

“You know Colorado — there was no red siren on Drudge when we won all 34 delegates in Colorado. That wasn’t news, because — I mean listen, that’s fine,” Cruz said.”

Huh? There’s 5 or 6 stories about how Cruz stole delegates.

According to you.

He’s never had a private sector job as an adult.

The point is how do all of you Cruz supporters defend him as a true conservative while at the same time blasting every democrat and rino who has the same background?

Kinda like what TED did to voters by exposing their voting records to the public all around them in Iowa...
Yeah... send us those records stone.

We want to see those pukes publicly shamed like Ted did the republican voters in iowa...

Turnabout fairplay and all that.
