Cruz earned points here but he will not have a career when he heads back to the senate. His base support will disappear and he will have no allies. I wish he had stayed the same Ted but like others Ive discovered he isnt to be trusted and is kinda weird.

Stepping into the Wayback Machine—not too long ago, when he was still playing this “Mr. Smith Goes To Washington” charade, we were lucky to remember a pol saying something like that. The next day all we remembered was, “Gee, Ted Cruz must be against the RINOs too ...”
But when people, at least freepers, have our memories refreshed, we can search and call them on it now.
So we see now that his original accusation that McConnell is a liar was probably theater—and that’s interesting coming from a pot like Cruz—then read his recent `return-to-the-well’ follow-up here, having come to know that he’s allowed himself to be placed in the RNC’s pocket, and confirm our opinion, four months after getting to know `Maria’, that blowing-off like that is pretty much standard Cruzing speed.
Thank you algore for the Interweb! Even a young guy like Ted must not be too search savvy to say such outlandish things, or he doesn’t care because he knows/thinks that many people still aren’t either, or he just doesn’t care. I’ve come to agree with Trump that Cruz is just a bold liar.

Not that I know much about any superpac. I don't watch much TV, so I don't see their ads. I get my news from the internet.
Let's see... Cruz is busy burning all his bridges, even though he is and will remain an establishment insider.
Trump is not an insider, but at least he is smart enough not to make enemies out of the people he will need to make his vision work.
Ditto, if Cruz is the nominee.
That is regardless of whether Trump runs as third party.
Do you really think that if *front runner* Trump is actually taken out, that the media and Dems won't plaster every Cruz dirty trick all over every political news site? Or that the media won't suddenly be swarming with bimbo eruptions? Given that Cruz never did deny the Nat'l Enquirer story, he left that door wide open.
In his zeal to use any tactic to take out Trump, Cruz is sowing the seeds of his own destruction.
It seems that the new American tradition is that everybody gets fooled all the time.
It will just show that deep down people like Mrs. Bill and yearn for the return of Mr. Bill in some diminished capacity.
Wendy Davis or Cecile Richards could be aiming to take out Cruz in 2018.
