Wednesday while campaigning in Hershey PA, Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)said his rival Donald Trump was “afraid of a debate” with him because he lacked “substantive solutions” on policy.
Cruz said, “What I agree is that the Democratic process works, and Donald whines and complains when the voters reject him. The voters are going to decide. We’ve won five states in a row. Donald won his home state, which surprised nobody. And it’s the people — we are seeing Republicans uniting behind our campaign. Because if Donald is the nominee, Hillary wins and she wins by double digits. The stakes for our country are too great to continue down this disastrous economic road and this foreign policy that empowers our enemies. And so I couldn’t be more encouraged at seeing the unity we are having across the country. Donald’s desperation had everyone wanting to just give him the race. It shows that he’s scared when the people decide. You know, if Donald had confidence in his positions, we’d have a debate in Pennsylvania, before Pennsylvania votes. What is Donald Trump saying to the people of Pennsylvania that he thinks they don’t deserve a debate? What does it say about the corrupt big government Democrats that they’re willing to have debates. That Hillary Clinton is more willing to have her positions challenged than Donald Trump? I think that’s disgraceful. I think any candidate owes it to the voters to defend their positions.

Fact is, the game is set-up now for them. You and I are just the “fund site”. I don’t give two shits whether Mexico pays for the fence, just build the damn fence! I would rather fund it myself, least I get a sense of accomplishment.

You Cruz supporters want “another pathetic debate”, kick your game up about another 270 delegates. Get within 20 prior to the convention, maybe Mr. Trump entertains a “telcon”. If Trump were the power hungry individual you claim he is, he would have run for office years ago. It’s quite shameful the way you disparage the character and motives of a man who has stepped up to the plate at great financial and personal risk to himself, financed his own campaign, addressed important issues that no other candidate was talking about, and took the heat for bringing many of those issues into the mainstream.
Your harsh judgment of Trump is not based on a rational assessment of the facts but on your petty dislike for the man. You could use some humility as well as gratitude for a fellow citizen who is willing to offer his talents and leadership to help bring this country back from it’s dire straights.

Cruz didn’t win five elections in a row, he won one election and four rigged establishment con jobs. Bastard is an irrelevant candidate except to the Cruz cult class, which is shrinking every day. After next week, only the most insane will side with this lunatic.

I saw Trump on the stage during some debates and Cruz was there too. Why would Trump waste his time debating Cruz (who no doubt has been polishing up some really nice sounding speeches as he fantasizes about beating Trump at something) when Cruz is out of the race except for possibly being selected by GOPe cronies after Trump (the people’s will) is stopped.
Scruz had plenty of time to debate but always kept his mouth shut. Cruz lies too much for someone to debate
