Video description: Being completely ignorant of history, the left has put a gun-totting, democrat-shooting, Republican on the $20 bill. By all measures and means, today most leftists would HATE Harriet Tubman...and she'd likely shoot them too!

Andy Jackson though was the only president who stood up to the Supreme Court, when John Marshall was the chief justice.

I’d rather put a real hero like Chris Kyle on the $20 than some made up affirmative action one like Hariet Tubman!

Affirmative action wasn't even a gleam in a liberal eye back when she was active in freeing slaves. She risked her own freedom and even her life to do so. That said, Chris deserves the honor as well.

“Anyone who has been through public school or college has been taught that the Democrats are the good guys, and the Republicans were the racists.”

Aah,I get it.

So people who go to private schools and colleges, like Phillips,Andover and Harvard are taught that Republicans are the good guys and Democrats are the racists.

Interesting.

That’s right, nearly every liberal pupil in the “USA” thinks Lincoln was a Democrat.

This makes no difference to the "Abraham Lincoln was gay" crowd who consider all Blacks to be Marxist-Leninist intellectuals.

Our skull-measuring, evolutionist neo-Confederates don't help the matter either.

OK, ya got me on this point: I’d rather see Kyle.

But Tubman was not “affirmative action.” She was a FIGHTER. And a gun-toting Republican...

A dozen trips into hostile slaveowning territory do make her a real hero.

I don't think she has the stature of a Washington or Lincoln or Jefferson or Jackson, but there's no denying she had real courage and put her life on the line for freedom.

I don’t care what ‘Party’ she identified with , she was shooting at my ancestors and don’t want to see her image on one of my most used bills . I will Sharpie the damn image.

Your ancestors should have left her alone.

Much of what people think they “know” about Tubmans life is in fact just myth.

Very little is known, and much of what is known has been exaggerated to the point of myth. John Henry was real too.

The point I was making wasn’t so much to disparage Tubman than to point out there are hero’s with stories as compelling or even more so than Tubman. And not a one of them will ever be taught about in a history book and none of them will certainly ever be put on a dollar denomination because frankly... they are all the wrong color!

” Given that she only shot at people trying to stop her from helping slaves “

How do you know this ? The Union commander, a former Jayhawker , that she was most associated with in the Carolina and Georgia coastal battles was well known and highly criticized for attacking Southern civilians , sacking and burning their towns and plantations , even if they offered zero military resistance .
Many people , and to include this gal , became behind-the-lines killer guerillas , taking out ruthless vengeance on the innocent and non-involved .
The south’s biggest mistake was to ever bring in the first african . The north’s biggest mistake was to ever traffic in them . That’s right ...the slavers were mostly yankees .So go sit on it and spin pal

Two things about Harriet Tubman. Liberal say she help free thousands of slave and had a $30,000 bounty on her.

1)She freed seventy who were her relatives and close friends and

2) The bounty on her was $100

The problem with the redesign of the $20, is it is accompanied by the redesign of $5 and $10. And the point of the the redesigns is to put blacks on the bills, who have struggled against oppression by whites. I’t all social justice warrior/politically correctness being rammed down on everyone to remind them of the division between blacks and whites, and their white priviledge, as opposed to having everyone treated equally, regardless of race or ethnicity.

As part of bho’s legacy, the bho admin wants to continue the racial divide they have recreated, by creating a constant reminder of how bad white people have been to blacks. It shouldn’t happen, but, the bho admin sees everything from the perspective of race, rather than trying to see things from the perspective of racial equality and equal justice and treatment for everyone.

Not only that. She’s black, she’s a woman, and she gives recognition to the struggle to end slavery. All in one person.

The faces on the bills are about those men who founded the country not heroes or other historical figures no matter their worth. This is about altering the image of America into something only leftists will love - next up which race which hero which race until it no longer matters,

She is a great choice, she just shouldn’t replace Jackson.

I’ve never had a problem with Andrew Jackson being replaced by Harriet Tubman. I also don’t have a problem with the people who want to take down Jefferson Davis’ statute at universities or in Southern cities. Nor do I have a problem with taking Woodrow Wilson’s name off of memorials and landmarks. In fact, I don’t have a problem with removing any Democrat from any money, monument, building or other public landmark. The Democrat Party is and always has been the party of Racial Division. Apart from maybe John Kennedy, every one of their presidents traded on race to gain power.

The Democrats of Jackson day aren’t the same Democrats of today.
