ISIS is executing its own 'failing' commanders as the extremists continue to lose ground in Syria, it has been claimed. The terror group has reportedly killed 21 military chiefs since the start of April in their Syrian stronghold, Raqqa. Its feared security body has also arrested a number of other commanders and transported them to Iraq.

Those who fought in Korea know the ROK army was good and they fought gallantly beside the US. The story was going around one time of one ROK regiment had not been able to keep pace with the Americans because they ran into unexpected enemy strength. The division commanding general went over to the regimental commander’s Hq, pulled out his pistol shooting him in the head immediately promoting the next in command to take over. We never saw anything written, but we all believed. They were no nonsense soldiers.

This, as always, is oxymoronical. The people doing the killing usually even understand this but they are generally at rope's end and flailing. What they know to be true no longer affects their actions.

On the other hand, Moslem commanders- being Moslem and being generally utterly fatalistic, are unaffected by the killing of commanders. If Allah wills that I shall die, then I shall die.

Isis is doing a better job of killing Jihadists than the Pentagon is.

ISIS executes 21 of its own commanders in just three weeks as its feared security body rounds up 'failing' military chiefs in Raqqa
Can't run for it, get punished for failure -- best option is death while attacking the enemy. Hard to beat that, short of making sure they don't take anyone with them. WWII-era Soviet pilots took to ramming their planes into German planes; some of those Soviet pilots survived to bail out. The Germans actually resorted to the same tactic late in the war, when the Luftwaffe was completely overwhelmed and 90+ percent of its pilots were dead.

I think we are quite active, but Obama doesn’t want that info disseminated. It would alienate his base. I wonder how many ‘news’ sources posted the story of the newest number of troops going to Iraq? Yes, I do believe this Admin is lying about our ‘boots on the ground’. I suspect Obama doesn’t want to admit it......but a few of our higher ups in the American Armed Forces simply will not allow ISIS to win. And the better it MAY start going for us, you know Obama will take credit and push for Hillary! to continue his ‘legacy’. The Democrat Party abounds with opportunists.

The big consequence of ISIS’s diminishing fortunes in their territory will be for them to urge their jihadists in Europe to action. They understand how shallow the European security bench actually is. A Bataclan or Brussels per week, and Europe’s security forces will go into collapse, just as the economy implodes due to closed metros, etc.
