Republican donors deny Cruz, Kasich needed funds, data show
MSN News ^ | APRIL 28, 2016 | JULIE BYKOWICZ and CHAD DAY

It seems like a logical pairing: Republican donors who despise Donald Trump, and two GOP presidential hopefuls sticking it out to keep him from the nomination.

Yet such a financial cavalry never arrived for Ted Cruz and John Kasich, ignoring their impassioned pleas for financial help.

"The analysis revealed another troubling finding for Cruz and Kasich: Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton attracted about the same number of Bush-Rubio donors as did their campaigns."

Cruz and Kasich are running out of money. Donors who contributed to Bush and Rubio are giving their money to Hillary Clinton more than Cruz and Kasich.

Soros has given money to Kasich but the big donors who control the GOPe wanted Jeb Bush. After wasting so much money on Jeb they are reluctant to spend it on these guys.

The GOPe donors are also spending hundreds of millions of dollars on Stop Trump PACs.

I get donation requests from Cruz all the time. Usually several per week. I have not given any money to Cruz.

I gave four times to Cruz before I saw who he really was and dropped him.

I asked to be off the mailers, but I fear he will stalk me for another 50 years.

This should give you a good idea of what Bush-Rubio were promising those donors behind closed doors.

I hit the unsubscribe button. Finally after about a month the emails stopped coming, well at least the daily barrage of numerous emails. I may still get one here and there, but not 5 to 6 every day like I was getting.

Kasich had no problem taking Soros money. Let him beg George for more cash.

Buckeye Kasich, the one-state wonder, proved to be Trump’s greatest help in the race.

It does seem that the biggest losers in this primary season have been the donors who have lost hundreds-of-millions on losers.

If those donors had spent 5 minutes on FR early in the primary election cycle, they would have known who were winners and who were losers.

Jeb? Seriously?
Graham? Seriously?
Kasich? Seriously? Mr. 1 out of 46.

etc.

I gave $100 once early on to Cruz.
And attended a rally in Jackson, Tn.

Switched to Trump soon after.

Are you still haunted by email and mail?

We may need to start a group to eradicate Cruz mail.

Do you think they will run out of money to give to Rush and Levin?

No. I unsubscribed and do not get any more of his junk mail.

Maybe it’s because I only donated once. You donated 3 times.
They view you as a cash cow. LOL.

I do not see how as Trump would have the Ohio delegate count.

Is there any proof of this?

Cruz and Kasich both announced they were cutting back their spending/staff/campaigns in certain states. They said it was because (make up any excuse you wish to go here). I don't know if you can call that 'proof', but I do think it's easy to make the connection to the obvious.

There are exceptions but most big donors are in it to ultimately profit. Financing losers, whether a new factory to build something that already is known to have no market or financing a politician who won’t be there to fix regulations for you is something that mostly isn’t done.

My wife gave donations to Cruz like you did, they ended with the New York Values Cruz attack. My wife is from Brooklyn NY., she hates Cruz now.

She also had a hard time getting off his email. So she wrote him a nasty letter and they finally stopped.

She told me she tried the Unsubscribe email option and it never worked, maybe just got even more emails.

Boner just called Terd , “Lucifer in the Flesh”

I went to a Libertarian Party meeting once. Everyone I met there was an activist for legalizing marijuana. For the next 20 years I got pro-marijuana literature in the mail. Despite numerous requests it didn't stop till after marijuana was legalized in our state. I am sure that the mailman and a few of my neighbors were convinced that I was a pot head.
