Steve Schmidt just told Chris Mathews that Trump is Presumptive Nominee and that the Republican Nominee. It’s over.
Said those against Trump, the consultants, staffers will have to own that they are going to be against Trump and will not be well thought of. Said anyone else other than Trump, with the wins he’s had, would have Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnel would be on the phone calling everyone saying it’s over. Saying they did it for McCain and Romney and will now be exposed that they are going against the will of the voters. Acknowledges that Clinton and Obama acknowledge that Trump is a dangerous nominee and very competitive against Clinton but don’t want to say so.
Ahhh, but John King says Cruz can still block Trump. All he has to do is take California, where he is behind by 15 points.

I have been in bed this morning, as I was up part of the night, but when I got up and saw the CNN screen, I leaped from my bed and started dancing. Marlene played "American Dreamer", to get me out of bed! It worked...
So glad to see these results, but not surprised. The only surprise is that Teddy Bare is still around! I saw the clips of his meltdown, and loved the interaction with those Trumpsters. Teddy's pauses were the perfect foil for the guy in opposition. "Are you Canadian"? Practically fell out of my bed. I see Bernie taking a lead, but the totals for all Dems are only slightly more than "The Donald"!

King should do a double take on California. It’s Trump 34% over loser Cruz in the last poll. Trump will take all 172 with that lead.
