Cruz’s lunatic father pretty much accused Trump of being Anti-Christ.

It’s the last gasps of a dyin’ campaign. Of course the campaign will refuse to die until the convention drives a wooden stake through it’s heart on the first ballot.

“I think it’s a disgrace that he’s allowed to do it. I think it’s a disgrace that he’s allowed to say it,” Trump said

Scary.

If one accepts the evangelistic timeline which led to the Cruz campaign's beginning (according to Daddio Cruz), their family spent six months in prayer, seeking God's Will as to whether or not Ted should run or not.

THEN on the appointed day, Heidi gets a 'Word from God' telling her to "not to seek God's Hand, but to seek His Face" and somehow she interpreted that as a green light for hubby to launch his campaign and start rounding up the votes because GOD told them to do it.

Now based on that alone, either God is NOT perfect and He just happened to choose a loser in Saint Ted, OR:

The Cruz family misinterpreted all of that spiritual hoo-hah and in fact God was telling them to stop seeking His Hand (as in assistance) and seek His FACE, meaning "...seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
~ Matthew 6:33.

The Cruz family got the cart before the horse and God did NOT favor their undertaking, it's as simple as that.

“During his Fox interview, Trump invoked a tabloid story that claimed to link Rafael Cruz to John F. Kennedy’s assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, which Cruz’s campaign last month dismissed as “garbage.”

I hope people understand what Trump is doing.

The press has refused to look very deeply into Cruz’s dad’s life. So, Trump repeats the most outrageous allegation out there (that Cruz’s dad was involved JFK’s assassination).

The press won’t be able to resist jumping on this, but to discredit Trump, they will have to report the actual truth about Cruz’s dad.

Castro supporter.
Communist.

Cruz is using his dad as a weapon against Trump. Trump is punching back twice as hard.

And, he must. The election isn’t over, and there is every indication the Cruz people will try to undermine Trump at the convention (and after). Trump knows you don’t quit fighting till the fight is over.

Forget the polls they are too easy to fake, the guys betting on the election have the odds of Trump taking Oregon at 94%. If the gamblers are correct Trump runs the table.

Indiana TRUMP 93.8%
Nebraska TRUMP 62.4%
West Virginia TRUMP 97.4%

I keep thinking Cruz's dad is a con man, a potentially great salesman gone bad, who is feeling the strong pull of the darkside and that Ted has perhaps not fallen far from the tree.

I've had a long history with such people dating back to early childhood and those Cruz boys keep tripping over my inner trip wires with their conservative and evangelical focused sales pitch. The deja vu is strong with them.

Then this morning I found this from 2013 about Rafael and Ted Cruz – Biggest Cuban Con Artists since Rosie Ruiz.

An excerpt:

Rafael Cruz states: “So I found myself at 14 years old involved in a Revolution.” Rafael was 14 in 1953. In 1953 there was one incident, the July 26 raid on the Moncada Barracks. Fidel Castro and his rebels who survived were jailed then released in May, 1955 and they departed for Mexico. They returned from Mexico on December 2, 1956. The first battle of the Revolution took place January 17, 1957 at the Mouth of the Plata River. This is around the time Rafael Cruz – the son of an affluent Matanzas, Cuba family and ally of the Batista Dictatorship – would have been anticipating leaving Cuba to attend the University of Texas in the late summer of 1957.

This Con Artist tale begs the question: how does a boy who claims he had left his home in Matanzas at age 14 and was gone for four years ‘in the Revolution’ missing all four grades of high school get accepted at an American university, especially by just ‘writing a letter’ at the last minute. No surprise that Rafael Bienvenido Cruz is not mentioned in either Museum of the Revolution in Cuba.

Cubans who fought in the Revolution were incensed at hearing Cruz’ claims that he escaped death several times and managed to get away ‘by the Grace of God.’ The(y) say that he ‘urinates on the graves of true youth heroes like William Soler, Jose Echeverria, and Frank Pais.’ The living Cuban heroes label Rafael Cruz a ‘bola de grasa’; a greaseball. The true heroes suspect that Rafael Cruz, the son of an affluent family, was possibly a spy for the Batista Dictatorship who later granted him an exit visa, perhaps infiltrating the FEU or the AAA and setting up youth leaders for torture and execution.

I've read quite a few variations on their family story and their "official" versions look pretty and smell bad. No matter what they say, their actions tell me we can't handle the truth.

My take away is that Rafael Felito Dorito Ted Cruz is not the One we're looking for.
