Naw, no way am I leaving. I dang sure want to be here if Trump, as I fear, screws the economy up with his tariffs and protectionism, so I can tell you all, I told you so!

I supported Cruz, for the most part, although I soured with his blaming of Trump for the violence. That said, the Trumpsters were unbearable, some of them downright a-holes. Some Cruzers were too, but its obvious there were more Trump-holes than Cruz-holes.

It sure made me want to give this place up sometimes. And while not a narcissist opus writer, I could have easily just faded away from the cesspool that FR seemed to have become.

And yet... its bigger than me and my feeeeelings. Anyone who is b*tthurt needs to realize that the biggest a-holes here were also the most ardent and strident posters, the silent majority chose their side and went with it, without denigrating each other. Now that it is all said and done, WE NEED to Rally against HILLARY! Pouting and whining is self defeating and self centered. We need to GET ON with the business of CRUSHING the Democrats in the general election. The stakes have never been higher. Sure, they say that all the time, but there will be judges retiring/dying in the next 4-8 years, and if we can't get at least some DECENT judges, this country is all but done for in one generation. So people need to butch up and get on with the FIGHT.

I thank GOD that he put JimRob on this planet to come up with FreeRepublic. Its still the best place for us like-minded to share ideas and thoughts. Lets not allow the last several months of fighting sour us too much on the good that we have done over the last decades.

In that vein, I call for a Cease Fire on the anti-Cruz and anti-Trump posts. A-holes, become your normal decent selves, and lets treat each other better as a community, while we train our knives on the REAL enemy....
