Q. “A Trump-Gingrich Ticket: Brilliant or Crazy?”
A. Crazy.
Trump should use Gingrich as an adviser.
I have been very impressed with Newts observations throughout the campaign. He has been right almost every time. Trump is new to politics. Newt could be a great help.
But making Newt VP would be a very bad move.
Trump should get someone in office now who can help unify the party and win in November.

Gingrich is a good person to have on the team, but not as VP.

I might consider him for WH chief of staff.

I want someone as VP that will carry on Trump’s policy of building the wall and banning muslims immigration if something happen to Trump. Trump is more likely to be impeached in Congress if he pick GOPe as his VP

Aside from delivering a state I can think of no one better who can unify a party. His success is proven in his contract with America and giving the Repukes control of the house and senate.

I agree with your analysis. And a very find article from NRO too.
One other point that I haven't heard raised: Bill Kristol and Newt are friends, so this may be a way to send an olive branch to the GOPe and get them onboard the Trump Train.

Oooooo that I like too! Extremely intelligent

I vote crazy. Trump can do better, and Gingrich will help however he can.
I don't have a person in mind. I like Newt a lot, he's brilliant and daring, but I think too well known and polarizing.

I f I were Newt, at our age, I wouldn’t want to be VP.
A less strenuous job would be my preference

Gingrich has keys to locked doors.
Listening to DJT's remarks on TV this morning after Indiana, his short list seems to include politicos/educators such as Gingrich. Who else (younger?) might fit the bill in addition to Newt?
