Who does?

Newt matches his dynamo spirit.

Trump will pick a great VP.

As many of you are aware, I have not been a Trump supporter. I have never been in the #neverTrump camp. In fact, I am in the #neverHillary camp. Driving in this morning and listening to the local radio talkshow, so many Pubbies were calling up and saying they would never vote for Trump. I have one thing to say to my fellow conservatives, think Antonin Scalia. How many of you out there want Hillary selecting Scalia’s replacement? That’s all I have to say on that subject because not voting or voting for a third party candidate is a vote for Hillary.

As for Trump, my advice to him is to take his vacation now. He’s going to need rest to re-charge his batteries for the rest of the year. He could also use this time to ‘invite’ people down to one of his many vacation resorts. He will still be in the news as the press speculates on his VP candidate and wonders which one of the people he invites to see him is going to be his running mate.

My pick as an old jarhead of course is to see General Maddog Mattis whose name has been bandied about. My favorite quote of his was his instructions to his Marines going into Iraq, “Be polite, be professional but have a plan to kill everyone you meet”. A good tenant to use in life....

Wanted to note that I received my CA Sample Ballot” this past Monday and there are five candidates listed for President of the United States. Trump is at the top of the list followed by Carson, Cruz, Kasich and Gilmore........

It’s early morning for me and the coffee isn’t working its worth and I can only think of the names Sessions, Gingrich, Palin, and DeMint.

I await more lightbulbs coming on.

...I am hoping for the Golden Age of Pericles with Trump in the WH.

Nikos, you are still giddy over the Indiana primary results. The real battle has yet to begin. The eight years of Obama have embedded the radical left through out the bureaucracy, hundreds of Fallujahs that will need quelling, hindered by the rear guard actions of the GOP-e.

Newt is a "big ideas" academic. Great on concepts but not so much on detailed implemenation. His past relations, especially with Bill Clinton and Nancy Pelosi proved he was blind to the hidden daggers that accompanied the smiles and handshakes of opponents.

Newt could best serve as an occassional advisor where his bursts of insight could provide light unburdened by the weight of follow through for which he has shown little interest or ability.

Let us all enjoy this day before we continue the rest of the long hard slog.

If he chooses to go with a VP to deliver a state, I could see:

Giuliani for NY
Christie for NJ
Kasich for OH
I’m sure there are others.

I’m not thrilled with them ideologically, but we MUST win this election.

Trump needs someone who can make sure he carries California. Not sure who that is, though.

Gingrich produced the economic miracle of the late 90s that klinton was given credit for. John Kasich wrote the budget that produced the projected surplus. klinton was only along for the ride.

If you have a sin or two, here's hoping you consider that before hitting the "Post" button with something else like this one of yours.

Not for VP. He’s 72 now so would be 76/77 by the end of Trump’s term. Too old to continue it on. I agree he needs to be in the administration/advising somewhere.
