The Clinton political legacy begins in Arkansas of the 1970’s. Should be plenty of fodder as the stories concerning Bill begin with University of Oxford, and with Hilliary as a protege of the Alinsky clique.

Perhaps what’s old is new again, with the resources to find and reveal the whole narrative. Many youthful voters (whom the Clintons predate) and the elder voters which only had three letter news sources(ABC, CBS, NBC) before the internet age, may find much more gritty substance never before exposed to sunlight.

They have a ton of unexposed dirt that they will drop on him like a nuclear weapon.

I don't think they do. Trump has been a public person for decades. He isn't some stodgy politician who crawls out of the mudpit of DC every four years to run some pablum campaign pretending to represent the voters' wishes, and then crawls back under the mud to do who knows what after being elected. Given his highly public life, it will be incredibly hard for the media to find anything about him that we don't already know.

I’m sorry, yes he’s been NY all his life, I don’t know what whispered Pennsylvania to me, it lied. Was there someone else in this race who did come from Pennsylvania?

Trump did go to Wharton, that's probably what youre thinking of.

Perhaps Trump didn’t see a future for his family, with the trend of the country. Sure, if you have wealth, it seems from the street vantage point possible to move to greener pastures. Perhaps that isn’t a viable option from his vantage point-—standing up for a change of direction was the only course.

He’s had success in business—likely intends to pass the mantle to the children. For this possibility to come about, the country cannot continue a decline, business as usual is a losing proposition. This realization forced him to finally do something, which until now he managed to avoid-—running for office.

I’ll rephrase:

Can anyone give me the name of a single mainstream church which includes “Dominionism” — with or without mountains — as one of its doctrines?

Failing that, a storefront or countryside church with a membership of, say, 20 or more?

(It’s my belief based on being in hard-to-medium shell American Protestant churches that “dominionism” — especially when capitalized as “Seven! Mountains! Dominionism!” is right up there with “Trilateralists!” and “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” as artificial boogeymen constructed either out of whole cloth or by ascribing eeeevil powers and intents to what is really quite ordinary.)

It seems you are suggesting that the media are genuinely looking for the truth. I beg to differ. They are not. Nothing new to report and be explained away because it has already been exposed. On the other hand, Trump has a mountain of dirt waiting to be slung on him. You have to give the establishment credit. They have manipulated it to get their ultimate aim - to destroy the conservative movement. A master stroke was to have Boehner persuade Kasish to stay in the race to keep Cruz out. Mission accomplished. The sad thing is to see so many people on this forum recognize what Boehner is, and yet when he helped Trump, they have forgotten his past. All of this is speculation, but I would keep my eyes open for all of those that think they have their ‘saviour’ in Donald Trump. He will be shown to be the one whom you feared.

He also has been buying off politicians and reporters (by his own admission.) When they deem it more profitable to expose him for their own reasons, they will do so. I would suggest that since you have no opposition to your candidate that you take off the binders and try to examine him honestly. Hopefully he will turn out to be the person that you thought he was. My prayer is that God show me the truth, and I will abide by it, no how painful it might be.

Cruz was a flawed candidate. His stance on H-1B and voting for TPA did him in. He is just another globalist hack. He will probably lose his senate re-election.

About Jan. 25, Cruz started making one mistake after another, and they never stopped.

Cruz did not go through the naturalization process. He was a citizen at birth, but we could quarrel over “natural born”.

>I really believe this, too. I'm certain that Trump entered this thing almost on a lark, with no intention of getting too far. It would explain his lack of preparedness on many of the issues. But then it took off, and I'm sure he was surprised and said: “Well, looky what happened here!”

A couple years ago the GOP approached Trump abut running for Governor of NY. Trump turned them down saying he was going to make a real run at the presidency. He's been prepping since Romney screwed it up.

What went wrong for Ted Cruz is the RINOs hate and fear him more than they do Donald Trump. Cruz is a real conservative who would never cave to the Democrats concerning repealing Obamacare, stopping illegal immigration, taking the fight to America’s enemies instead of apologizing, etc.

In a floor speech linked below, he spells out how the elites in both major political parties are screwing over the majority of the American people:

“The Real Story of What Is Happening in Washington”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aimgwzV-77U

^THIS is why Boehner compared him to the Christian devil.

“My last straw and absolute turn against Cruz (I don’t think I could ever vote for him in the future either) was the night of the mini riot in Chicago. PAID anarchists and stupid college “kids”’shut down the 1st Amendment. Cruz was giving a campaign speech at a Lincoln Day Dinner, the media caught him in the lobby for an impromptu press conference.

Cruz, who memorized the Comstitution in his teens, said about 8 words defending 1A...then, unscripted and “real” went into about a five minute “preacher mode” smack down of Trump and how HE caused the riots with his violent rhetoric. His demeanor before the cameras was giddy (I posted that word here on FR over and over that night). Giddy, jolly, thrilled that Trump had been shut down. Stopped. What 1A? Who cares “I’m THE candidate now!”

Excellent point. This was a particularly galling episode. Riots are caused by rioters, and Cruz blaming Trump for hooliganism was well beneath any notion of conservatism and smacked of craven opportunism.

Good call.

I do not know what conspiracy websites you have been looking at, and I am really not interested in them myself.

However, I do know that the media has no compunctions about destroying people. If there were any hidden "dirt" that they could use against Trump, they would have used it by now. They would have used it decades ago, in fact. The fact is, Trump's record is public, and has been for decades. The media is therefore stuck with repeating things like Hillary's calling him "a loose cannon" because they don't have anything on him.

The fact that people know Trump also makes it harder for the media to lie about him. Remember how much the media lied about President Bush, and just kept hammering and hammering at him? They got away with that because Bush came out of nowhere, and no one knew him except through the media lens. The fact that the media will have a hard time spreading lies about Trump is actually one of the reasons I have supported him from the beginning.

Please don't withhold your support just because your "principled conservative" candidate did not win. Trump is going to need a good conservative house and congress if he is to have any chance whatsoever of turning this country around before it crashes and burns.

Keep your eyes open because his character will come out. I don’t read conspiracy websites but listen to what he has to say, in his own words. The press has wanted this matchup, because it is a dream for ratings. My desire is for everyone to take off their blinders and see the truth for what it is. Trust your own instincts and be very judgemental - don’t rely on feelings. Having been in business for over 40 years, I have known many BS’ers very much like him. Anyone that has been a bull in a China closet for that long has stepped on a few toes along the way.

Keep your eyes open because his character will come out.

If whatever you imagine is his "true character" has not shown up by now, after 30 or 40 years of publicity, it is not likely to show up any time soon.

Personally, I would far rather a blunt non-politician (but smart executive who knows his stuff) than another socialist who will finish the job that Obama has started.

I wish there were more people like Trump, and fewer career politicians, especially politician lawyers. I want people who look at problems and discuss ways to solve them, not people who impose some ideological non-solution on a problem and stick with it because it supports their ideology.

Perhaps you are right. My point is to keep our eyes open. Again, having run into the Trump personality many times in my life, I know what to look for. You have run into him many times as well, but perhaps didn’t make the connection. Trump spends a fortune on his presentation and can hide himself well. He actually has revealed himself but anyone that is enamored with the presentation doesn’t look too hard. I strongly suggest that we keep our eyes open because the next president will set the course of this nation for the next generation. In the big scheme of things, if he is elected, then there is not anything that we can do about it. However, I can, and should advise the kids on how to protect themselves no matter who is elected. This country has never been in such a precarious position, so I will not trust my future or the kid’s future based on the illusion of the media.
