Like most politicians the farewell speech is usually one of their best.
Lyin’ Ted’s “heartfelt” speech was read from teleprompters.
#phonyconservative
Bla bla bla c-ya lyin’ loser. No one will forget the nasty person you are who lacks character.
While watching TC speak last night on the stage with his family, I wondered if Heidi wanted Carly to work off that $500,000 loan by permanently being the nanny for those two blond hellions that Carly loves so much.
Those are the two most un-appealing children of a candidate that I can remember seeing. Why did Cruz think it was a good idea to parade them?
I didn’t hear him once congratulate Trump. Maybe I missed it.
He’s needs to be on the Supreme Court.
I didn’t listen to Cruz’s speech. Tell me, did he wish Trump the best in his campaign?
Agreed. If the Ted Cruz making the concession speech last night had been the one on the campaign trail for the last four to six weeks, he might have still been in the race.
Did he mention Trump at all? I mean at all? I thought Trump went overboard in praising him.
Trump is a fighter, the likes we’ve never seen here in this country for a long long time. He is an American with the AMerican genes.
The people who fault his tone, are the people who will sell us out in a fight. Does anyone honestly believe that Elizabeth Warren and Hillary Clinton will protect us?
I make no apologies for Trump. Fact is we need a strong leader, not the same mush.
God Bless You Ted CRUZ...you are a true conservative and this Freeper feels bad that you were not the Republican Candidate.
You have done the right thing by bowing out now.
Left it all on the field? Wrong! Campaign managers took over and theyre only tactic was Trump is bad. Cruz had so much more to offer. He has stood up for the constitution and for conservative principles. Had he kept to that topic, hed have done much better. But when the campaign started focusing on Trump instead of Cruz, the wheels came off.
Time now for Cruz to swallow his pride and back the Trump candidacy. Another Clinton presidency is NOT and option.
Cruz did the right thing, but he still needs to publicly congratulate Trump. Trump also needs to call Cruz. The two need to work together to get Trump and other Repub’s elected this fall.
Cruz is a young-man version of a curmudgeon, has no friends, is socially awkward, and is highly opinionated - which are all apt descriptions of successful jurists on the Supreme Court.
The Senate Republicans would love to see him leave (GTFOOH), and President Trump could gain brownie points for putting this highly qualified Conservative, constitutional scholar, douche bag on the Supreme Court.
I say it is a win-win-win-win for Cruz, the Senate, the country, and Trump. Time to be pragmatic!
Ted is a classless lying loser. He never even mentioned Trump once.
But this has been the nastiest Republican primary season in my memory (I was just a little kid in '64). And some Trumpsters still refuse to be gracious and let it go. You've won. Don't be "sore winners" like the "gays."
The most distressing thing about this whole season has been what it has revealed about us. We've put social issues, morality, and G-d A-mighty on the back burner in the name of racial/civilizational identity. I wonder sometimes just how many conservatives actually believe in the One True Objective Universal G-d . . . and how many believe in "western civilization" for which "gxd" is a mere metaphor.
G-d help us all.
Cruz campaign highlights: Iowa, being sworn in by Beck, picking Fiorina as VP. Did I miss any?
