I don't think any of them had the chops or moxie to develop their own game, one that would be superior to Trump at persuading the public, and one that effectively counterred Trump's parry.

Rush missed out on Reagan’s elections too; never voted for him even though he could have ... it happens. Someone else had to stand in his place. I hope he votes for Trump now.

If Rush keeps this up I would expect an attempt at the convention to steal away the win from Trump.

PITTMAN: “Ok, since you are sitting aside any form of business formality, your new contract reads as such, first because of our failing company, your one hundred million signing bonus has to be set aside.
Second, we have to renegotiate the length of your contract which will be yearly instead of ever eight years also you will still very highly paid ,however, there will be a small cut in your salary”
RUSH: “You know Robert, from this point on, you can only contact me through my lawyer and, in the meantime, I’m going to make you regret this meeting by what I say on my program and if you think you have problems NOW just wait to see how many stations and sponsors we have left”

There’s no doubt FNC has changed, and not for the better. I read that their ratings are slipping badly, and that CNN passed them.

IMO, Cruz may have dropped out because there is something to the Lee Harvey story.
I doubt that. More likely the National Enquirer was about to drop the other mistress shoe.

I think his handlers just cut his puppet strings. No money, no campaign.
They will try to derail Trump through other means. Cruz was too light and frail a tool.
