Londoners go to the polls on Thursday to choose a replacement for the outgoing Mayor, Boris Johnson MP. Despite the fact the Labour Party is currently mired in an anti-Semitism scandal, if all things remain equal, expect the party’s candidate Sadiq Khan MP to be confirmed in the early hours of Friday morning.
Mr. Khan, 45, has had a successful career in the Labour Party, being elected to parliament in 2005, becoming a Minister of State in 2008 with a promotion in 2009. He was a Shadow Secretary of State for Justice from 2010-15, and has been running for London Mayor since then.

It is good to remember that in many, many countries, such as France , the Muslim populations are centered around ghettos based on their ethnicity. Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. Therefore, they exercise more power than their national average would indicate.

London has fallen.
Queen Elizabeth lived through all that. She saw all that. I wonder what her private thoughts are on this matter. I suppose tradition or whatever prevents her from making public comments, even indirect ones.
But it would be really great if she could bypass that idiot Charles and appoint Prince Harry as her successor. Harry knows a thing or two about islam.
But I suppose appointing Harry would be against the rules too.

As convoluted as their government is, at least the actual City of London will still be off-limits......for now.

Several decades ago my mother, British by birth, and I were in London. We decided to get off the bus and walk the remaining three blocks to Westminster Abbey. We found ourselves walking the gauntlet of Muslims men, sitting in their folding chairs against the wall, glaring at us.

Muslims have been in the UK for nearly 70 years. Whilst there has been a rise since, perhaps its more a case of ‘seeing’ more of them. If you get my drift. We see more of things we are unsure of.

No, it isn’t. Listen, the UK has problems with radical Islam, but the UK hasn’t fallen and will not.
The vast majority of UK Muslims aren’t terrorists or nutters or radicals. NOR will they breed us out. After nearly 70 years, they are still 4% of the population, one which is 90% white British. Nor are they even the biggest ethnic group.
Americans really need to stop thinking the UK is three weeks away from death or conquest.
As someone who has lived here (albeit when?) I would expect you NOT to get suckered into the more hysterical nonsense about the UK.
We have not fallen and will not. Problems yes, conquest no. There is a good reason the British and Irish freepers here roll our eyes at a lot of the nonsense posted here about the UK now and future. Its not denial, its because we know whilst we have problems to address, whats usually posted here is OTT nonsense.
1—The monarch (thank god) has no power. So silly ideas of Liz driving back the Moozlims like some 21stC Henry V are laughable.
2—We British here keep telling you its nowhere as bad as you think, but people either ignore us, call us deniers or simply wont listen. The UK is 96% NON Muslim, over 90% white. And that’s after nearly 70 years of Muslim and other ethnic immigration. Whilst the UK clearly has a serious issue with young radicalised Muslims, this notion the UK is going to be or already is some Muslim state is utter nonsense.
And voting in a mayor in one city who is Muslim dosent change this, anymore than you voting Obama makes the US a Muslim state.
3—Charles is no idiot nor is he a Muslim, or a Muslim sympathiser. I have met the man, and Naturalman1975 is a close personal friend. I do not agree on all he says, but I and most Brits support his comments on architecture for example. And he is a supporter of all faiths, the Muslim garb pics you see here are cherrypicked amongst hundreds a year of him in various religious garb. He is no more a Muslim than he is a Jew, Buddhist, Sikh or Hindu.
4—William is Charles’s direct heir. Not Harry.
Not finished, not by a long shot. People have been predicting the death of the UK since the says of Waterloo.
Were they Muslims or Arabs?. There have been Muslims in the UK since the 50s and an Arab community (albeit a rich one) since the 60s.
I am sorry you felt intimidated, but openly aggressive Muslim men wasn’t common back then (which decade?) in London or elsewhere.
