Well, if Legoblocks has moved their company to Mexico (I’m playing along here, doubt they have, but wouldn’t be surprised), then perhaps President Trump can show Mr. Fox a few models he’d like to get built at his expense. Perhaps we could have a design contest as part of the general election...

I want to have fun with this.

Other than that, Mr Fox can go suck an egg...a rotten one at that.

Better yet, shut down the illegal cash flow into Mexico. In particular, we need to find a way to stop illegals from earning money here and sending it out of the country.

I have no problem with fair trade. They can buy from us and we can buy from them. But siphoning money from illegal drugs, other illegal activities, illegal employment, and sending Mexicans (or people from any other nation) to the US for a free ride on our welfare system, medical system, and school system needs to stop.

It smells like an assassination opportunity, regardless of whether the wall is built or not.

As long as you crowdfund it south of the border.

Well it would mean something if it was someone that was currently holding office. It has been years since Fox carried the stick or matterp.

Probably. But just to make the transfer, buy the money order etc, would cost them a hefty fee. A service charge, if you will.

Shoot. Trump just might buy Mexico and flip it back to Spain.

I think the significance is that Fox is the only non member of the PRI to hold office that I can remember, and I’m retired. PRI is the party of the institutionalized revolution. In all the years they have held office they have kept internal peace by letting the righter wing of the party hold office one term and the left wing of the party the next. Fox was an unexpected winner from PAN, the party of national action, roughly analogous to the Republicans. This may be why he is reaching out to Trump. His party does not represent the main political establishment. I have listened to him speak in Spanish and he has a slow very understandable manner of speaking. Since Mexico has several million non Spanish fluent Indians, he may try to include them as PRI has been a bit deficient in that regard. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

He was the first (so far, only) PAN prez of Mexico — the PRI has run things since the beginning of the latest constitution (post wwi). Single six year terms, the presidency has the same structure to its downline that multilevel marketing has. :’)
