Bannon suggested House Speaker Paul Ryan withheld his endorsement to pressure Trump into dropping his positions on trade, the border wall with Mexico, bringing jobs back from China, and temporarily restricting Muslim immigration.

This article is a flat out lie. All Ryan said was that Trump needed to start working on appealing to the Constitutional Conservative base that was supporting his opponent.

In addition to significantly reducing illegal immigration and drug smuggling, building the wall will have an another benefit: It will provide Democrats with a losing issue for many years to come. Once built, the Democrats will campaign again and again on the promise that they will tear the wall down if elected, and they will lose again and again by taking this position.
