Hillary Clinton Targets Republicans Turned Off by Donald Trump
NY Times ^ | May 6, 2016 | AMY CHOZICK

Hillary Clinton’s campaign is trying to seize on the turmoil Donald J. Trump’s ascent has caused within the Republican Party — hoping to gain the support of Republican voters and influential party leaders, including former elected officials and retired generals disillusioned by their party’s standard-bearer.

The efforts come after the House speaker, Paul D. Ryan, on Thursday said he was “just not ready” to back Mr. Trump, comments the Clinton campaign giddily blasted out in an email and on social media. At the same time, Priorities USA Action, a “super PAC” supporting Mrs. Clinton, intends to reach out to Republican megadonors disillusioned by their party’s presumptive nominee.

More broadly, Mrs. Clinton’s campaign is repositioning itself, after a year of emphasizing liberal positions and focusing largely on minority voters, to appeal to independent and Republican-leaning white voters turned off by Mr. Trump.

Here is the opportunity for Paul Ryan and the "#neverTrump" "conservatives": support and vote for Hillary!

Afterall, she will make such a great president!

(If anyone can't see this is sarcasm, they need to work on their comprehension skills)

I was being sarcastic, but Hillary is serious in trying to get support and votes from those who don’t like Trump.

We have a choice: Trump or Hillary.

I actually think the ads run against Trump so far by Clinton will actually help him. The one with Romney, Miss Lindsey, Cruz, Rubio, Jeb etc., all blasting Trump, could actually make democrats not wanting to vote for Clinton, think that Trump is a better bet since all the prominent republicans are against him.

Well, Republican primary voters have thus far Mr. Crap Weasel.

This didn’t happen in a vacuum. There are millions of voters behind Trump.

Trump will get support from NeverHillary folks after the lying queen is installed as the nominee. Which she pretty much has been.

Eventually this hissy fit is going to wear off and the clown posse at #Never Trump is going to realize they are in a Lose-Lose position with this idiocy.

IF Trump wins they have demonstrated themselves politically impotent, utterly childish and totally irrelevant. Their moronic political temper-tantrum here will follow them around forever. Their career in politics/media will be effectively over.

If Trump loses, everyone in their audience is going to point at the #Never Trump clown posse as the cause. They will be politically pariahs. Their career in politics and media will be effectively over. Hope they enjoy doing the new blurb on Kdum in Nowwherevill Iowa for the rest of their lives.

IT is over, they lost. They can either sit down shut up or be destroyed by their own petulant, arrogant, stupidity.

I have a few issues with Donald Trump; I have infinite issues with Hillary Clinton.

She cannot be trusted; she cannot be POTUS.

I don’t know if I can trust Donald Trump, but that’s a risk I take with my eyes wide open.

#NeverHillary

I’m just looking to see how many ‘VOTE ROMNEY’ and ‘VOTE MCCAIN’ cheerleaders there are who go swarming over to Hillary’s camp.

To me, the rebellion happened 8 years too late, but better late than never. Just think how much heartache would have been saved had both McCain and Romney skipped the past two GOP conventions.

But now that we’re done talking about the tiny minority, how about the MUCH bigger (nearly half the primary votes so far) group who hates Hillary. Think only half of those will come to the Trump camp?

With the despised "in crowd" of Republicans preferring hillary, it's helping to frame her as an ultimate insider, on the same page as Romney, Ryan, and the Bushes. In many states, Sanders and Trump are both winning. That means a STRONG majority want to vote the insiders out of DC.

hillary can HAVE them. We're better off with a real DC housecleaning, both political parties.

Remember, folks. Explain to your acquaintances who aren't on the Trump Train yet that hillary is the preferred winner for Romney, Ryan, and the Bushes!

I'm pretty sure she already had the "influential party leaders" on her side all along. The whole bunch of them are totally corrupt.

“Hillary Clinton Targets Republicans Turned Off by Donald Trump”

Turned off by Donald Trump I can understand. But “turned on” by Hillary?

How would that even be physically possible?

So, Hillary is courting Republic support? Wouldn’t that put off her following?
