We were in the “Hobby Hall”. We were allowed to use the spot where they have one big display each year. It was right near the doors that go to the stage between the Hobby Hall and the building where they have all the flowers.

Our friend, Master Sergeant Emmons joined the army when he was 18 and was finally forced to retire from his reserve unit when he turned 60. He did tours in Vietnam and also both gulf wars. For many years he taught small arms out at Fort Lewis. He is quite a character, and can always be counted on to take political incorrectness to new levels. The “Veterans for Peace” had a small booth not to far from us which they discontinued after the first week. I suspect that Mike’s chiding may have had something to do with it.

That would be a first if the Teamsters endorsed a Pubbie. My guess is the leadership won’t do so outright, but won’t stop their members from doing so (only a guess given the head honchos are in the pockets of Dims and vice versa). That said, IIRC the Teamsters management wanted the pipeline and Obama nixed it (Hillary was wishy-washy on it as I recall).

Neither may endorse but I think that Trump’s trade policies are definitely resonating with them, except that may be offset by union management not wanting the wall and wanting the illegal workers to bring into the fold to get more dues.

I cut myself off. Every hour or two Mike would check his watch and say he would be back in a little bit. A couple times my wife would leave around the same time to get some snacks; she said that each time she saw Mike head straight over to the “Veteran's for Peace” booth and start giving whichever volunteer who had just started their shift a bad time. He did tell us that after some of his interrogations that he had determined that many of them were not actually veterans at all and that they wouldn't be back. I don't know how exactly he convinced them to leave, but after being a drill sergeant for so many years, he learned some persuasive techniques.

I left Harts Pass, WA., July 10th, and walked 32 miles north to the US-CN, border. I spent the night there, then turned around and headed south through Washington, taking 86 days of my sweet old time, to reach Cascade Locks, OR.

I spent a total of 15 days there in various places, then headed south through Oregon, reaching Santiam Pass. I went into town and spent 9 days between staying in Sisters and Bend. Then I went back to Santiam Pass and headed south. A snowstorm hit and once my friend and I got out of that lava field north of McKenzie Pass, we decided to call it quits and started walking the now closed road back to Sisters.

I covered 750 miles of the PCT last year. I basically was out for 4 months. I probably camped more days than I hiked. My goal is to hike the entire 2,650 miles of the trail in one season. I’ve left the US-MX border every year since 2012, heading north trying to reach Canada, before winter hits. The only problem is I’m in no hurry and use a lot of my time camping instead of hiking.

The farthest I have gotten is 1,018 miles north of Mexico, reaching Sonora Pass, just a little past Yosemite National Park, CA. I have 900 miles left to hike between Sonora Pass in central/northern California, and Mckenzie Pass, in central/northern Oregon. Basically, 600 miles in CA., and 300 miles in OR. I could do that in 2-3 months if I hike more than I camp. That might be my plan this year. ;O)

We needed a FReporter at the event and that’s what I did. It was a major reason I made it down there.

Trump should start calling Hillary, Crooked establishment Hillary”. Start hanging bloodthirsty warmongering Lindsey Graham and others like Jeb, Romney, Cruz, make her the poster child of the America Last establishment.

After a very short time to meditate this morning had to drive to a nearby town which gave me more time to think

It seems that Ryan and others have a problem. Not certain it is Trump. It may be the people who fund them and the pressure they are under. Thinking out of the box: they may want advice on how to handle the situation.
Remember when I suggested a couple of weeks ago that Trump set up a campaign fund for congressmen where the donors were anonymous They may just need that solution and don’t know how to ask for it.
We shall see

The vile thing about many of Trump’s enemies, especially including Jebbie and Ms. Lindsey, is they also signed the same pledge, knowing that Trump could win the primaries. They aren’t just virulently unpatriotic in what they’re doing; they’re lying oath breakers, unfit for any future office.

“If anyone thinks he will not build the wall ask yourself if you would have flown all the way to Eugene Oregon to give a speech to 5,000 people after you have already won the state? He would and did and will build that wall as well as fulfill everything he says he will.”

Exactly!

Wow, that was an amazing description of your rally! thanks for sharing it - I felt like I was there with you ;)
