Six men were killed and at least 39 other people have been wounded in shootings across the city over Mother’s Day weekend.
The latest homicide happened Sunday morning in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.
Kourtney Young, 21, suffered multiple gunshot wounds about 8:45 a.m. in the 7600 block of South Prairie and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:35 a.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Young lived in the 7300 block of South King Drive, authorities said. Police did not immediately have details on the circumstances of the shooting.
Earlier Sunday, a 35-year-old man was shot to death while riding in a car on Lake Shore Drive on the North Side.

If any doctor needs emergency room experience in gunshot wounds, a month in the Chicago ER should do it.

Life ain’t always easy. It is NOT worth it to keep with those “family” that want you down. GET THE HELL OUT and, needless to say, don’t bring that culture with you. Simple.
I’m guessing Father’s Day doesn’t bring the same level of celebration.

Thanks to BLM and Rahm, police officers are and will no longer now do proactive policing. Too bad for, the few good black Chicago residents, but they voted for this. They will now have to call BLM if they want protection.
There has been an on going military trauma med program where Great Lakes Navy Corpmen receive on the job training at Chicago hospital ERs.
IIRC back in the 80 early 90’s they trained military doctors in South Central L.A. at King Drew Medical Center in just that
There is an element of heavy sarcasm in my posts on this subject with a but. These people chose to live this lifestyle to a large degree by playing the victim and blaming whitey. Some social strata refuse to look inward to find solutions and elevate their lot.
This is only encouraged by our current administration, or the left in general. They need these social classes to remain on the plantation. As for me I have no use for people who play the victim card or for those societies in the world that don’t work to better their lot. Hard yes, but rational I think.
