WASHINGTON — Hillary Clinton sharpened her attacks Sunday against GOP rival Donald Trump on the issues, but hinted she’ll steer clear of his personal life on the campaign trail.
“I’m not going to run an ugly race. I am going to run a race based on issues. I don’t really feel like I’m running against Donald Trump. I feel like I’m running for my vision of what our country can be,” Clinton told “Face the Nation,” in an interview taped before Trump’s tirade the night before against Bubba’s infidelities, and her “enabling” of him.
The former secretary of state cast The Donald as a “loose cannon” for wanting to upend nuclear arms policy, bring back torture, shake up NATO and renegotiate the national debt.
“Maybe he just doesn’t understand that running our government is not the same as making real estate deals,” Clinton said.
“I don’t see Donald Trump having any kind of coherent foreign policy or theory of national security,” Clinton added, while describing Trump as “cavalier, even reckless and dangerous." Trump, however, spent the weekend blasting both Bill and Hillary Clinton for Bubba’s infidelities. “Hillary was an enabler and she treated these women horribly. Some of those were destroyed not by him but by the way Hillary Clinton treated them after everything went down,” Trump told a rally in Washington

No way the serial liar CAN match Trump in, as she put it, “ugliness” because there is really nothing they have on Trump which comes even close to the level of Benghazi, Emails, her fraudulent Foundation, managing of her husbands many “bimbo eruptions and her attempts to destroy those women who DARED to come forward.
Let’s all remember that Hillary Clinton’s high negatives are entirely due to character issues (Lies, dishonesty, etc) while Trumps negatives are brought on by issues which are personal such as his perceived harshness, his being seen as a buffoon, etc. Trump can pretty much overcome these by a month or so of acting calmly and professionally while speaking on the stump. Hillary Clinton’s negatives are baked in over a career of some 25 yrs in the public eye and aren’t open for change.
I’m banking on him inducing a coughing fit to end all coughing fits. Sympathy, sure, but also a turning away from a miserable old cow.

Hill may self-righteously decline to debate, blaming it on Trump’s “tone” (or whatever), and the media will help her get away with it.
Hillary would need, at a minimum, a forty foot ladder to be within hailing distance of Trump.
Understood and highly expected. But the words and condemnation and the accusations will have already been out there for ALL in this country to see. THAT is the problem for her. Media can’t lie, obfuscate, choreograph and script her performance on the stage, that night - live before all to see first hand.
