I’m surprised we don’t have more Cruz pimping than we already do.

The difference is that the others who promised are career politicians. For them, making promises they know they can’t keep is part of the game.
Trump is a businessmsn. Making promises you can’t keep in business is a quick way to ruin the brand/business. Trump believes in his brand, and that goes for his tenure, God willing, in the WH. He will do all in his power to keep his promises because to do otherwise would trash the Trump brand.

Will someone please tell Mr. Cruz that he is dead politically for 2016, and he is only making it worse for himself in 2018, 2020, 2022, etc.

I preferred Cruz until January. The change had nothing to do with any kind of God like attributes ascribed to Trump. Nor was I angry at Cruz (yet).
I simply decided that Trump was the better candidate, and had a lot of good reasons for backing him.
I did get angry at Cruz when, instead of being a conservative for free speech and unifying with Trump against the #blacklivesmatter and Bernie thugs, he blamed Trump for their violence.
If you weren’t upset by that, I’d suggest you’re the one with the idolatry problem.

Yeh right! So that’s why you backed an ineligible Canadian-Cuban who is such a POS those who know him hate him, is that it? As used today the word “Conservatism” has become a pejorative term. Sadly, that term has been unjustly used to describe men like Cruz who are simply using it as a means of fooling folks like you into voting for them. I’m just glad Ted won’t be able to get near the White House, unless he applies for a bathroom attendent’s position. If he does, I’m sure he will mount a fight over towels or toilet paper!

I received a new letter in the mail this afternoon from Teddy, kicking Donald and implying he has a plan to block Trump from getting the nomination even if he gets the 1237... by taking control of the committee and changing the rules.
Ted is a scorched earth cheater. Fortunately Trump is a bulldozer on steroids.

Trump may have won less than 50% over all. But he went in well over 60% in New York State. And as he moves across the primary he’ll win 50% or more in the remaining states. So that argument doesn’t work.
