The media is trying so hard to make themselves relevant but they’re talking to the WIND!!!!

Sorry I can’t answer your question. This weekend I’ve been pretty much news free other than freerepublic. Catching up on fiction reading and relaxing.

I did read somewhere that registration is up on both Democrats and Republicans. I believe its reported that only 22% of the newly registrated have voted and there’s a big interest to see if these young people actually show up and cast their vote.

Looks yummy
LUNCH. Cottage cheese , summer slaw and YUGE red ripe strawberries.
Ice coffee (our deli has the slaw. So good with green onion, peppers and tomatoes all cut fine in just the right amount)

Me too. When there are fresh radishes and green onions. Just a few chopped up make an interesting variation.

Mother called in schmershall. Not sure of the spelling. But consider it one of the heritage German dishes passed down. She made ours. But wouldn’t know where to begin

Next question, small curd or large? LOL I’ll take both.

I eat either. Will buy one for month and then just get a whim for the other. What mom made was very large curds. We had our own cows so iirc she used whole milk with out the cream separated.

Just found a recipe for homemade provolone like they make at the upscale deli. We have dairies close but there are now laws against them selling raw milk.

She broke up the curd to make smaller with her small meat fork.

Funny how little memories just pop up, when one starts the flow.

Oh wow! Homemade cottage cheese. Yummylicious, I bet. I wonder if I could find that at our nearby Amish Farms???

I have wondered the.same. get butter, cheese and cheese curds from my local Amish. We get free range eggs from several local farmers and starting soon we will get grass.fed beef.
Am hoping with the opening of a farm market in town that more pure product become available. Already have a friend who put a hive on property. Have fruit(berries and trees) & a good size garden. More work than one person can do. But have many who help this little hen.
