Ted Cruz is not releasing his delegates before the GOP convention
CNN ^ | 5/10/2016 | Theodore Scleifer

Ted Cruz is not releasing his delegates in at least three states, a sign he may hold onto some clout at this summer's Republican National Convention.

Cruz sent a letter to Republican state parties in at least Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas on Monday informing them that he plans to keep the delegates he won bound to him...

Trump is the presumptive nominee and is on a path to clinch the 1,237 delegates needed to earn it on the first ballot, but holding on to his delegates could help Cruz exercise at least some control over convention rules and procedures.

Mike Lee is a disappointment. Another Tea party pick like Rubio, who has run amok.

I do not care what his college room mate says. I do not form my opinions on other people’s opinions. I form mine on someone’s actions, not on what they say. I analyze and decide on my own findings.

You don’t know what conservative means. You are also completely uneducated in the Constitution if you think “Citizen” means the same thing as “Natural Born Citizen.” There is an enormous difference. Cruz “may” have been a citizen at birth, still unproven, but he was definitely NOT a natural born citizen.

Ted Cruz has hardly been in the Senate for votes and when he did vote, he sided with the globalists. Examine the things he proposed, the things he SAID he was for, and look at his ACTUAL performance in his recorded votes. He has NOT served the best interests of Texas nor of the citizens of the United States. He has only served his own best interests.

I know exactly what conservative means. Anyone who thinks Ted Cruz isn’t conservative does not.

You’re either a natural-born or naturalized citizen. There are no other options. If you’re a citizen at birth, you’re natural-born.

LOL, then list off your “approved” conservatives for us. Sounds like no one actually passes your personal purity test.

Ted Cruz will be reelected in a landslide

***************

May well happen but my guess is Cruz won’t be a candidate. His work history says he doesn’t
stay in one position but a few years, usually less than six, and then moves on. He was only
in the Senator posistion a couple of years and already looking to move on to another position.

Ted Cruz has served his constituents, not himself, and has voted exactly how he said he would. Why are you so paranoid about globalists? We should all be scared of isolationists, who plan policies with complete ignorance towards the reality that there is a world beyond our own borders. They're the ones who eventually have an invading army show up on their door and scratch their heads wondering what happened. Ignorance and sticking your head in the sand is not the solution to any problems. glob·al·ist ˈɡlōbəlist/ noun noun: globalist; plural noun: globalists; adjective: globalist a person who advocates the interpretation or planning of economic and foreign policy in relation to events and developments throughout the world.

Wrong! If you are a citizen at birth due to an act of congress / statute, you are NO
T a natural born citizen. At birth Ted Cruz was a citizen by his father of Cuba, by the place of his birth of Canada 9evidenced by his birth certificate) and PoSSIBLY a citizen of the united States by his mother,IF her citizenship had not been revoked in favor of Canadian citizenship. This has not been proven as the birth records are SEALED. If Cruz has nothing to hide, why are the records sealed?
A Natural born citizen is one “WHO CAN BE NONE OTHER” and required BOTH parents be citizens and requires born on the soil of the U.S. A. Cruz is NOT natural born. He could have been any one or all of three, Cuba, Canada, and maybe the U. S. A.
Rubio is also not qualified as both his parents were not citizens at the time of his birth. He is an Anchor Baby.

Start with Jeff Sessions. There are many, but I’ll not do your homework for you.

Just how many other countries do you know and know well? How many have you even seen? Don’t even pretend to talk to me about globalism when you spout Globalism by your very words.

At a time when Cruz feels seriously unfriended, perhaps he thinks those delegates have to like him.

Cruz is acting like an attorney who has no case at all and is simply creating all kinds of problems for no real reason. I have known attorneys who have made millions just by tying things up in court with no real hope of accomplishing anything.

That is Cruz.

I do not care what his college room mate says.

I didn't say that you did, I was merely using the college roommate as a hostile witness to demonstrate that the public behavior of Ted Cruz in his formative years is that of an anti-communist. Since you do not know Sen. Cruz personally, much less are able to read his mind, the conclusions you come to about the Senator necessarily are based in part on information gotten from others.

trump would demand ted drop out or he’ll punch him in the face or shoot him in the face, either one his followers will still follow him.

I am getting really tired of the Cruz die-hards disparaging Trump supporters in this manner. Cruz crawled into bed with the GOPe to try and wrest the nomination from Trump in a contested convention and stayed in the race long after he had any mathematical chance of gaining a majority of delegates - and in the process, he disregarded the very advice he gave Kasich on that matter. So in other words, your guy was so driven by his ambition that he was willing to give the GOPe a shot at defying their stunning losses at the polls. That is not the kind of guy I want as our standard bearer.

why are you tired of us quoting Trump?

Are you still following him now?
Youll follow him then, too

So, just who will he shoot in the face that you WONT follow him anymore?

I’m tired of folks like you spewing this stuff while ignoring just how bad Cruz got over the primary - FAR worse stuff. Stuff that could have handed the nomination to GOPe control. Hypocrisy. And just plain poor principles.

Im tired of folks like you telling people you’re conservative when in reality, you are endorsing a lifelong hillary supporter who will appoint liberals just like he did with Christy to his entire cabinet

Bite me. Your so-called conservative lost and severely damaged his image in the process. If Trump does half the stuff he has promised, he will govern as a solid conservative. Now go cheer on Cruz to re-start his campaign after his solid 18.4 of the vote in Nebraska.

have a nice day, but your brand of conservatism is allowing an accused rapist, an accused thief (court case against his university) and a known friend of pedophile who he once claimed was a great guy and how he knew jeffrey epstein like them young...

you call that conservatism, and that is your guy, the one who just put christy in charge of his transition team . . .

Biblical level of delusion.

Nice job of spouting Dem-grade talking points. But we’ve come to expect such.
