Trump Paralyzed Hillary’s Campaign
Commentary Magazine ^ | 5/10/2016 | Noah Rothman

Posted on 05/10/2016 3:33:09 PM PDT by GilGil

Campaigns and candidates matter. Clinton cannot simply coast into the Oval Office. She’ll have to work for it, and it’s not clear that she knows precisely how that is done. For the moment, like the Republicans who tried and failed before her, Clinton and her campaign staffers seem utterly perplexed by the Trump phenomenon.

Imagine if McCain and/or Romney had gone after Obama instead of playing nice, while taking a beating from the left and the media.

If they really did that, then they would not be GOPe uniparty.

Imagine, McCain, instead of mounting a ferocious campaign, actually assuring his voters that Obama and Biden are honorable people from whom we have nothing to fear.

Imagine Romney disappearing in the foreign policy debate, not mentioning Benghazi nor Obama's dismal record, mistreatment of veterans at the Veteran's memorials on the Mall, etc.

What were they thinking?

Trump is like the space alien who absorbs nuclear detonations and only gets stronger!

Huge point you make about Hillary being vulnerable to Russian blackmail as POTUS!

What do you think of Trumps salesmanship? What advice would you give him? I keep wanting him to follow up “features” with “benefits.”

I wish Trump would break it down a little more. Tell us what it means that Hillary exposed State Dept secrets. We all know she did it, but follow up with what it means. Briefly expose the ramifications of each “feature.”

Thanks for posting this.

So when ever Scruz tries something sinister and back stabbing, Trump can identify and neutralize him quickly!

The people who really benefit from attack ads is the person paid to pursue that strategy

Trump isn't even President yet, but he's already improving the economy.

Probably not. Many have turned Rush off.

He's slipped so far from his "Rush Room" days.

I have been using Fauxahontaus. I was reminded that few of the younger generation even know the meaning of faux.

Pinocchiohontas by Kudsman, a better word mixing to describe Warren the fake Indian.

You can’t even run against the black lightbringer. It’s incredibly racist to even CHALLENGE him. That’s why he looked so dumbfounded in debate 1 against The Bishop

Kids know faux. The faux-hawk entered the vernacular a decade or so ago. Of course, it may be fohawk, phohawk, or you may need a hieroglyphic.

The Republicans say one thing, but they're just part of the same tax and spend structure as the Democrats.

The Democrats didn't get us $20 trillion in debt by themselves. They had plenty of help from the Republicans.

Lieawatha and Hitlery are saving their best shots until close to the election. Expect the usual series of lies from Democrats fired off without enough time for Trump to respond.

That won't work this election. Trump can respond via Twitter in seconds and Facebook within minutes.
