Now it is just fine ...

I did not say it was "just fine." I said it was to be expected. Did you expect something different from Jeb Bush?

Boy is that one family with a large sense of entitlement.

Just think, those Bushes are all such talented geniuses, just because daddy Prescott Bush was a rich banker.

Who knew that preservation of such gilded DNA could be passed down from generation to generation, minting generations of Bush-league leaders?

Personally, I expected him to shut up and slither away, not run to the nearest mic and express his displeasure with Trump basically saying that he's not voting for him, so it is okay if the little people don't. To me, he's campaigning for Hillary.

Seems to me you are attempting to back track on YOUR accusation. Jeb Bush allowed an innocent woman to die, 13 days, to die. There is nothing rude Trump has ever said about Jeb Bush. Jeb Bush took a pledge to support the nominee, and true to his character he is withdrawing what he pledged.

The former Florida governor said last week he doesn't plan to vote for Trump or Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton. Instead, he said he will "support principled conservatives at the state and federal levels."

Jeb Bush: Republicans Don’t Need Conservatives to Win White House, Should Not Defund Exec Amnesty

Jeb, as a conservative member of the base you rejected, discounted, ignored and derided; what exactly is a principled conservative to you?

TDSers conveniently forget the hail of degrading insults that were thrown at the Trumpster by every candidate from day one. Except Cruz who waited a few months before joining in. It any of these whining freepers were ever the subject of such an assault they would react in a far more nasty fashion themselves than Trump ever did.

I posit that Trump could never say anything nasty enough to properly respond to what these Bushes and Rubios and Kasiches et al, corrupt feckless looters all, have done to our Republic.

Unfortunately for the professional political class the Trumpster showed immediately his contempt for them. I still remember it fondly even though certain others seem to have situational memories.

And who can forget the withering insults thrown at him from the media the day he announced his candidacy? Nicole Wallace, in particular, was embarrassingly nasty. She’s had to eat crow many times over. (God’s way of punishing her for her mistreatment of Palin?)

Listen Snowflake, nothing....NOTHING...is more rude than dishonoring a pledge. What if an elected President, after taking a vow/pledge to protect the country, didn’t like, Ohio, should s/he not equally protect Ohio?

A pledge is an honorable vow.

I’ve never seen such a generation of snowflakes...faced with the truth, or plain talk, the just wilt, spinning off to find a “safe space.

A person who is as viciously rude to others as Donald Trump is cannot legitimately expect them to “back him.” If they don’t publically work against him, they’re being pretty decent.

Doesn't matter how rude Trump was/is. A pledge is a pledge. One of the reasons one signs a pledge is because it usually requires making a difficult choice or committing to something, as in a marriage, or in a loyalty oath. Jeb lacks the courage and the strength to stay true to a pledge. His word means nothing.

A decade ago, when Chris Matthews insulted Michelle Malkin on his TV show, Zell Miller appeared the following night and told Matthews that his treatment of Michelle was ungentlemanly, and that a century earlier he would have felt compelled to challenge Matthews to a duel.

This is another situation that calls for a duel.

I've mentioned on some threads that we should take the New Jersey state park in Weehauken where Burr shot Hamilton and dedicate it as the National Dueling Grounds. ESPN would cover the duels in addition to C-SPAN.

Trump and Bush should fight it out at 40 paces with their seconds.

Jeb vowed to support the nominee only when he thought it was going to be himself.

I agree that Jeb Bush should honor his word and support the nominee. But to be accurate, one should note that Trump is not yet the nominee. If Bush supports Trump when Trump is the nominee, I suppose that will count as keeping his word.

Question - Is the term 'low energy' used in relation to Jeb Bush, an insult or simply the truth as Trump saw it (and as did the primary electorate)?

Jeb can take offense at this term, but that doesn't mean it wasn't true. And the truth is an affirmative defense to slander/libel accusations.
