Trump Picks Up Endorsements Of Nine House Chairmen
foxnews.com ^ | May 13, 2016

Nine GOP committee chairmen lined up behind presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump Friday, just a day after the billionaire businessmen met with key party leaders on Capitol Hill.

In a statement released announcing the endorsement, the chairmen said that it was important for Republicans to unite around Trump since America cannot deal with another Democrat in the White House nor can Republicans to lose their hold on Congress.

“Any other outcome is a danger to economic growth, puts our national security in peril, enshrines ObamaCare as the law of the land, entraps Americans in a cycle of poverty and dependence, and undermines our constitutional republic,” the statement said.

...

Trump responded Friday to the latest endorsement by calling a strong House Republican majority “imperative.”

The representatives endorsing Trump are Steve Chabot of Ohio (small business), Michael Conaway of Texas (agriculture), Jeb Hensarling of Texas (financial services), Candice Miller of Michigan (house administration), Jeff Miller of Florida (veterans’ affairs), Tom Price of Georgia (budget), Pete Sessions of Texas (rules), Bill Shuster of Pennsylvania (transportation and infrastructure), and Lamar Smith of Texas (science, space and technology).

They are concerned about this John Miller person, Trump’s PR person from 25 years ago. They don’t know how to deal with Miller, so they fell in line.

Good they endorsed him, but I hope when Trump gets in he gives them all a swift kick in the *ss to make them start doing what they’re elected to do.

In a statement released announcing the endorsement, the chairmen said that it was important for Republicans to unite around Trump ...

It's not a big deal in this case, but illustrates how misleading the press is. The text of the release by the congressmen includes the word "important," and also includes the word "paramount."

They wrote that the election is important, and that coalescing around Trump is paramount.

"We stand on the precipice of one of the most important elections of our lifetime. This great nation cannot endure eight more years of Democrat-control of the White House. It cannot afford to put Democrats in charge of Congress. It is paramount that we coalesce around the Republican nominee, Mr. Donald J. Trump, and maintain control of both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.

"Any other outcome is a danger to economic growth, puts our national security in peril, enshrines ObamaCare as the law of the land, entraps Americans in a cycle of poverty and dependence, and undermines our constitutional republic.

"There is a path to winning in November, and it comes through unity. To solidify this partnership, we endorse Mr. Trump as the Republican nominee for President and call upon all Americans to support him."

The TRUMP REVOLUTION is starting to consolidate it’s victory over the Establishment by the sheer momentum of it’s electoral landslide and the ‘self-preservation’ instinct of those in the political and donor class. The really smart politicians are getting ‘in line’ with the direction of the new political landscape, and will cause the TRUMP REVOLUTION to become even more stronger.

You can see the effects of this when TRUMP makes a ‘peace-or-else’ mission to the the DC GOPe, that’s for all it’s bluster from Ryan, is completely surrounded and under siege by the TRUMP forces just outside the gates of the city.

Basically, TRUMP says, complete and unconditional surrender within ‘X-time’, or else we will come in and turn your city into complete rubble. Surrender, and you can possibly stay!

LOL. The press is all fired concern about Trump's denial, because it involves his honesty. Let them obsess over this for awhile, then Trump will come out with examples of Hillary's statements, that are undoubtedly hers, and how little concern the press shows about her highness's honesty. I mean really, the press wants to make this election a contest over honesty? LOL. Go for it.

***************

They wanted Trump to meet with them to stroke their egos. That’s how Capitol Hill works. Now they can claim to their gullible constituents back home that they have personally met with the party’s nominee to make him aware of things the district wants. Its all about appearances. Its a big con game.

Trump should have made it abundantly clear to Ryan and his little cabal of like minded cronies that “I’m not happy with what I’m seeing in this congress and things are going to have to change. Its time we focus on putting the American people first. You either get on board this train or get off now.”

The voters have Trump’s back and he is on a roll. He needs to lay down the law with these sleazy legislators.

I think this Miller guy was probably Trump. He should fess up and say, “Hey, I’ve been trolling you guys since before trolling was even a thing.” And then move on to discuss whatever the latest irresponsible thing the press has done.
